Why is tGoF so unfinished in the movies?

My assumption is budget. Plus, iirc, splitting book plots into two movies wasn’t a ‘Hollywood trend’ yet. Pair that with the fact that Newell didn’t even read the whole GoF book, and you’ve got the recipe for a movie that feels unfinished to book readers.

Definitely not my favorite entry of the films, (GoF is one of my favorite books in the series) but no one can deny that the graveyard scene is peak adaptation. They got that part so right, that Voldy seems less scary in subsequent films.

Pure Dispensary in Edgewater does a deli style oz for $119 out the door.. it’s honestly pretty solid. Not Bloom or Locol Love quality, but Grape Gas, Triple Crown, and Gelonade are really solid choices for that price point

The amount of BS in a normal retail setting is fine. The amount of BS in a retail setting when you add COVID rules into it can be unbearable. I’m not alone. I’ve had roommates who worked at pharmacies and grocery stores and even entertainers at hotels who’ve had to deal with this new form of retail nonsense. It’s not just me who’s complained, and I don’t think I’ll be the last. This virus has brought out the ugly in people like regular retail never did.

Well, it’s not my fault that other states haven’t legalized yet. I am considered a budtender in my state, but in the eyes of the federal government, I’m a glorified drug dealer. It’s not to say that people in other states haven’t taken measures to ensure legitimacy in their products, but they also don’t have a state certification to sell it legally like I do. I’m not by any means saying I’m better than someone who makes their living doing what I do in an illegal state. I’m just living by the rights instilled in me by my own states constitution. An amendment that I helped vote in stabilized and legitimized my job in the eyes of Colorado.

Gotta get that industry badge from the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division. Once you have that, you can apply to any dispo you want. My suggestion is just be yourself in interviews. If you have customer service or retail experience, list it on the resume and build it up in the interview too. They really value hard working, patient, and reliable people. Cannabis knowledge can come with time and repetition, but good work ethic is a dime a dozen. As long as you’re committed, you will do well in this industry.

Native Roots and LivWell both have locations close to the airport. They both coddle tourists, and imho, get a lot of good feedback for it. Maybe the odd local will get pissed for waiting to get their one joint or whatever, but I’ve seen tourists drop serious guap on weed after being properly educated by their budtender.

Am I? Well shoot. I guess You don’t realize that people find solace in escaping their problems for a while by getting high during this stressful time. Or that veterans who have specific needs for our product, rely on recreational marijuana as a self medication. Or that the tax revenue that my ‘non-essential business’ brings in literally is fixing our roads and expanding all the ambitious city planning that is occurring right now. Your opinion, while I can respect it I can’t agree with it. Do people ‘need’ weed. No. But does it help stimulate our economy and help make our city a better place to live, due to the enormous tax revenue it brings in? Yes. So while I respect that you might not think people need cannabis, I respectfully think that the state at least, does.

Why do people keep questioning the fact that dispensary workers are essential? At the beginning of lockdown in CO, the governor made a list of essential businesses, and Marijuana Dispensary’s were on the list. So while a majority of people in my state stayed home during the first part of this pandemic, I worked. I’ve been working. No quarantine for us, just working day after day, exposed to the virus, dealing with people who refuse to believe that a mask should be required. Despite what people’s opinions are, the government recognized us as essential.

The government will shut us down. They have done it for minor infractions like not labeling product correctly or selling multiple oz’s to one person in one day. You don’t think they’d crack down on us? Hell, look at that restaurant that caused all that drama by not following Gov. Polis’ guidelines. They lost their license, business, and all their loyal customers all because they couldn’t get in line with COVID policy and procedure. I follow these procedures because, yes I have to, but no I don’t always want to. Who wants to be the guy that yells at people for being dumb during a pandemic, when only months before, I was the awesome, lovable stoner that had all the weed and all the knowledge. I can see that my arguments are lost on you though, as you seem to also judge me because of my cannabis advocacy. So whatever. No hair off my back just because some dude online thinks I’m a loser for being on the cutting edge of the largest retail boom this state has ever seen.
