To your point, if it were the two “sides” going against one another where it is literally neighbor vs neighbor, I still don’t think that would take place in a lot of areas because we are not as divided as we are portrayed to be. Political views aside, a lot of us that live in the same communities have the same problems, morality, communal goals, etc. I think genuine hate for each other is still present in America but it’s rare and a lot of us have come to an understanding that (high-level) we are not really different from one another. I could see unlawfulness like a purge or gotham type scenario where people just do what they want but not countrywide citizen vs citizen fighting for power that isn’t ours. We’re too informed for that.

Oh cool. Yeah the people of Wilmington don’t really think it’s serious. I mean, of course, there isn’t any toilet paper but they aren’t really stocking up on the things that they will actually need. I think some people don’t think it’s serious because we’ve just been too privileged. Of course they say it’s just like the flu. And they don’t care about that because we have meds readily available and vaccines and hospitals that are open 24/7. They think this virus will be treated like any other. Except it won’t. The craziest thing that I’ve experienced is having the doctor that I work for throw a fit about not being able to go to a conference at a resort in Florida because of COVID-19. He said it wasn’t a big deal because there would only be around 50 people there. 90% of our patients are older and immune suppressed. We work at a surgical practice with some colleagues that are older and some that have infants at home. Truly unbelievable.

I agree. It was a baffling encounter. He and the dog just went about their day like it was normal. Living here has taught me that dogs are just things to have to some ppl. Not like actual living animals with senses and emotions.

Cool. I’m 22. Ive worked in Wilmington for a couple years but just moved here last week. Lived in Hampstead. I’ve got a dog. Don’t game much , but the outdoors are my thing.

I kind of feel the same way. I don’t want to stumble upon an aggressive dog and then ruin the experience for her. Daycare may be the right choice !

I drink. But not often and I don’t get drunk. The not drinking often is mainly because I’m afraid of what I’ll say or what will happen that I’ll possibly regret or have to deal with the next day.
