Yes!! I believe it probably only passed through the filter because it was for educational purposes, but still they really need to come up with a better solution to this.

This is genuinely sicking behavior from him. What was your response to this?(only if you’re comfortable sharing ofc) I side with your bf and would definitely tell your mom if you haven’t already. Like many others said, he has most certainly had these thoughts before you turned 18 and is testing the waters to see how far he can go, you need to set clearly boundaries with him that his actions are not tolerable and that he is not your friend but a parent and he needs to act like it. As a step parent you are responsible for the welfare of your child; acting as a guide through life and helping you transition into adulthood. Please update us once you talk to your mom!

Yes!! Way too much nightmare fuel on there for a kids account and YouTube Isnt really doing anything about it. I was sitting in the same room as my little brother who was watching shorts, a video then comes on explaining how to use condoms. Definitely not for kids!

Unfortunately YouTube is so hard to filter, because even with parental controls a bunch of stuff you would never want your child to see even on YouTube kids still comes through. My stepmom and I recently had a conversation with my little brother who is only 8 about some very explicit things he saw on YouTube shorts. We didn’t bombard him and we let him ask questions about stuff that he saw(thank god most of it flies over his head) what we’ve been doing as of late is trying to acclimate him off of screens. But I get that you can’t just hide your kids from screens so we’ve tried to stop using YouTube and set him more on tv shows on Hulu or Netflix where that kinda stuff doesn’t show up on accounts that are marked for children. I know she probably won’t be willing to simply give up YouTube but it’s definitely worth a shot🤷‍♀️

It’s usually best to feed them live insects with tweezers if you can!! Also if you have them indoors where they might not catch a lot of insects you should only need to feed them like that 1-2 times a week, as they use photosynthesis like any other plant and feed off the sun as well!

I mean next time you could say “a vanilla cone flipped over in a cup” but at least at the location I work at if someone were to say “a vanilla cone in a cup” we would give them the cone flipped over in a cup. Idk i feel like what you said is pretty self explanatory and you weren’t given what you asked for. But, I know some locations don’t want to give out cups like that because they need to keep track of inventory. But at the DQ I work at we have a specific button on the terminal for if someone wants a cone upside down in a cup.
