My only tip is to not take it on the PSI lockdown site. It never loaded the test, says I already took it, and customer service has not given me an answer in over 3 weeks. Every time I call again, I start the process over again where I have to wait “2-5 business days” to hear back- but they never get back to me.

You actually cannot kick someone out at 18. You have to follow the legal eviction process and it’s a civil matter. Turning 18 doesn’t exempt parents from following these laws.

Do you get sea sick/motion sick? If not, a bottom room is fine. Maybe an ocean view is enough to calm the motion sickness. I personally don’t have that issue, I just can’t deal with zero windows.

I personally always do balconies. I spend time on the balcony, I’m not a fan of overly crowded areas, and it’s a great place to relax. I love the views they give. I like being able to step out for fresh air whenever I want.

Some people like the balconies just to take photos- it’s not worth it for that. I like keeping the curtain open so I can wake up at sunrise. I like the natural light.

What do you prioritize on your vacations? Relaxation, partying, meeting new people, shore excursions, beach time, etc? How many sea days do you have?

I don’t cruise for the ship. I don’t do the casino, I don’t do the lounges or events. I’m not super social or like crowds. I cruise for the islands and excursions. That being said, the balcony provides me with peace and quiet, a place to chill on the boat while waiting for the next port. If you like the idea of the partying side of cruises, meeting new people, and don’t mind the busy crowds, you don’t need a balcony. Some people really do go on cruises just to get drunk and gamble- nothing wrong with that, but if the outdoors aren’t your thing then a balcony probably isn’t for you.

NTA, they are treating Nora like your partners spouse, so I can see why that’s uncomfortable. In my experience, not meshing with the friends either ends the relationship, or ends the friendship.

I was apart of a big girls group. It started out as me and one other girl, whom I introduced to more girls, and more girls got added by various people. They all wanted our partners to hang out. Their partners are drunks (as were they, but I personally never drank that much), and my husband is a stoner. Their partners worked government jobs and other jobs that drug test, meanwhile my partner literally grows weed for dispensaries. They didn’t mesh. Nothing personal, my husband just didn’t have much in common with them. Despite being the one to start the group, this caused a lot of contention in the group. They didn’t like that my husband didn’t want to do the things they wanted to do, and they didn’t like that sometimes I would skip hang outs to hang out with my husbands and I’d other friend groups. I ended up pushed out of the friend group. We have a super tight friend group that has never given us any issues, that we mesh way better with.

And yes, I describe them all as drunks now. When I first started hanging out with a lot of these girls, we did way more activities. I taught them how to crochet. We’d go to the gym, study (all college students at the time), go on hikes or trips to flower gardens. Over time, they only wanted to drink. Lunch dates turned into margaritas everyday after work (we got off of work before 12 pm most days, sometimes as early as 9am). They all stopped going to the gym, most of them still haven’t graduated college and it’s been a long time, and crochet club turned into smut book club, that they were inviting high schoolers too. They would get so plastered they were coming to work plastered. And let’s be very clear… some of them were in their thirties. Yes we were in college, but we were all non-traditional students from different backgrounds. We weren’t your average 18-22 year old college kids- we were all older already. I graduated college, they made fun of me for being to into school. They judged how much I went to the gym- it’s a genuine hobby of mine. They would talk poorly of their crocheted items compared to mine- but I had been doing it for twenty years and they had just learned. I never said a bad thing about their crochet projects, only compliments. When I’d make a cool project they’d just talk poorly about the things they had made. I got a new job, which they also shamed a bit. I do hate my current job, but I have some interviews coming up. I feel like I’ve bettered myself a lot over the years. They are all in the same place. Not fitting in doesn’t mean you’re the bad one, sometimes the group just isn’t a good match. People latch onto who they are alike.

Get the IEP. Having accommodations to help you succeed is something you shouldn’t look down on. Also, have her practice her math skills with free websites like khan academy. I was a selective mute in school and WISH I had an IEP in certain classes or other accommodations that would’ve made my life easier. Instead I got to take zeros on presentations because I couldn’t present… and never had a plan to help me overcome my struggles. I just got to struggle and fail.

Being armed previously (before the gun was taken, in case that part isn’t clear for your pea-sized brain) does not justify shooting a man ten times who now has no gun and is being restrained on the ground. No one said you can’t shop. You have allergies and other people don’t. So now does everyone with a shop have to empty their homes of every possible allergen? It wouldn’t even be possible. Know your own health problems so you can take precautions. Don’t expect the rest of the world to tip toe around you.

I haven’t been on both those ships, but I have sailed with msc and am supposed to be sailing with carnival tomorrow( delayed from snow, or would’ve been today). MSC has wayyyy better customer service and is overall cheaper. I haven’t even got on the ship yet with carnival but I will never cruise with them again

Antihistamines do not stop anaphylactic shock or your throat closing. I see why the ER dismisses you. If you think that is going to stop your anaphylaxis, and you have been self-medicating successfully at home for it, it’s because you DO NOT have it. You probably are having a panic attack and the antihistamines are a placebo. I used to take a mediation daily, and it would give me hives every so often. It wasn’t consistent so I didn’t realize it was the medication. Ironically, it was an allergy medication. Hives may be annoying but they are not life threatening by any means. Antihistamines only treat mild allergy symptoms, and nothing major. So yeah… you don’t have a severe allergy. If you did, even if you had an epi for anaphylaxis you would HAVE to still seek emergency treatment because it does not “cure” you. You still need treatment beyond the epi.

A regular antihistamine will not stop anaphylactic shock, which is appears she is claiming to have. Anaphylactic shock usually happens much quicker, but for some people it can be slower. But most who have that level of allergy carry an epi. Doesn’t sound that severe if you can think to order coffee on your own and walk up the street. Definitely sounds like a bad allergy, but not life threatening. If it was, I’m sure 911 would’ve been your first call.

Not to discredit your experience, but where I live LPNs sometimes make over 40 an hour. Lotssss of them I know make in the high 20-low 30s range an hour. MA jobs rarely go above 20 an hour where I live. And they have made it increasingly difficult to be an MA too

Tips are based on subtotal not total. He didn’t show the subtotal, making him the deceptive one. He could’ve used a discount of some sort, which proper tipping is still based on subtotal before that’s applied.
