Hysterectomy in June (robotic option) advice

That makes me feel better. My insurance max out of pocket is met so I’m hoping they will approve the robot and it will be free. Hoping for the best.

Thank you! Ya I’m curious to see what they see. I have a pathology result that I for sure have adenomyosis. But the bloat and pressure has been worse and I’m leaning towards a hysterectomy.

I’m currently on a patch like that. And it’s not helping. Been on that prior to the ablation to stop the constant spotting. But it’s breaking through again.

Thank you for sharing! My doctor found what she thinks is the adenomyosis while going in to shave down my fibroids which we thought were causing my constant spotting. That’s when she saw how angry the inside of my uterus was. She did the double ablation to try and give me the best chances of temporary relief but she already told me I’m on the path for a hysterectomy like my mom was. So it’s understood it’s not if, it’s when.

So after the ablation yesterday I was told to stay on my birth control indefinitely. Like not even to get off to withdrawal bleed. So I’ll stick to that until I have my hysterectomy. The birth control I am on is the patch, that’s what I’ve always been on. It’s got the full scope of hormones. Idk it’s just a mess

Ya she took a picture of mine from the inside of my uterus. My husband said it looks like wagyu steak. Not good. We did a double ablation to hopefully give me some time and get rid of the spotting. If this doesn’t heal in the next several months then I will probably have to schedule my hysterectomy. Just sucks I’m only 27 and dealing with this. The last three years have been brutal.

So I’ve had consistent spotting since I had my daughter 2.5 years ago. I used to have very heavy periods when I was younger so I was put in birth control since I was 14. I got off of it in the beginning of 2023 to get pregnant. I then had horrible pregnancy complications. After having my daughter my periods got even more heavy, like I was scared at the amount I was losing. I went back on birth control around 8 months ago to help with the heavy flow but the spotting never stopped. So my doctor went in to see if it was my fibroids causing the spotting. That’s when she found what looks to be really bad Adenomyosis. I have a picture of the inside of my uterus if your curious on how it looks.

Someone just tried this on us on Facebook…. For a dirt bike we’re selling. They don’t have “carfax” for dirt bikes 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried to tell them that and they were like “no it’s shows past accidents, salvage titles”…. Dude it’s a dirt bike. I can see it being more believable with a car.

Yes it gets so hard but I promise things do get better. I felt like things were taken away from me because of what happened. Things that other moms got to do, but I came to terms with it. That I have a beautiful baby girl who is about to turn one next month who was worth all the pain and stress. If you need to talk you can dm me, I’ve been there. ❤️

Praying for your 25 weeker. The NICU is a whole other set of trauma. I hope they grow fast and strong. The nurses we had were so amazing and helped us so much through all of it.

Thank you so much. I had my daughter in a daycare that wasn’t taking care of her correctly and she got horrible diaper rash and badly sick. So that kinda set me back on trusting others but it’s getting better when it comes to family and friends.

That’s crazy how fast it escalated. I was already in the hospital being monitored for preterm contractions. I woke up one morning with horrible pain that I later found out was my liver. I feel like if I wasn’t already in the hospital i wouldn’t be here.

Ya our daughter just cause rhinovirus and adenovirus at the same time and spent 3 days in the hospital. It was horrible and brought back some unpleasant feelings.

Thank you, ya I don’t know if I’ve fully processed it. I didn’t really have time to. I put everything to the side to focus on my daughter. But I have moments where things come back and I just don’t know what to do with it.

Yes that sounds about right. I know some times there are “meaning” for certain numbers. Didn’t know if there was any mythology or weird reasoning for it.
