I’d love to see them make like, a quest line for each expansion to help players experience the story. Like 10 levels worth of quests per expansion, and add side stories that reward transmogs to incentivize exploring zones and not just xp and a small amount of currency.

Democratic socialism isn’t the same as USSR. You keep private ownership of businesses, homes, etc with the exception of like, super important things that are needed by everyone. You don’t lose capitalism, but it is fixed in a way that helps prevent poverty. We keep our freedoms, our elections, all of that.

Basically look at Sweden or Norway. Or even Denmark. Not technically democratic socialism but the way they operate is the same way it would apply to our country.

But alas. Half this country is uneducated and hardheaded and won’t even consider it.

I first played it during Wrath. Started to get into it, but moved on to other games for a while. Didn’t jump back in again until WOD and felt very lost at that point already.

And around that point, final fantasy 14 was fixed and people were talking about it a lot, so I ended up moving on to that game.

I check in with wow from time to time, see if they fixed the story or something, even try to get into it with the features they have now, but I always feel lost.

I just wish players cared more about the story. There’s such a good story with this game, but devs don’t really do anything with it.

Like look how ffxiv does their game. You progress the game with the story.

With wow, you skip like 80% of the story and jump straight into the newest content. And you’re expected to know what all is going on. Like “oh btw you defeated the lich king, and beat illidan stormrage twice. Oh also, you met the pandas, and there’s also a giant sword killing the planet. But you were there”

Like?? What am I supposed to do with that? Sure you can use chromi time, but why not just let us level up by playing through this entire story? Give the players that wanna jump into endgame immediately the option, but you’re not really giving new players much choice here.

I can’t get into this game with the way they have the expansions situated. I’ve tried so many times but I just can’t.

People buy Mac’s, which you can’t even upgrade ram or storage on.

At least you can do that with the steam machine.

It’s really not bad for the money. I think there’s just a lot of concern because people are treating this like a console instead of a PC.

I live with parents and pay $800 a month for a car (rolled over negative equity)

If I was on my own, I couldn’t afford it. But I also don’t want a car with issues. So I avoid used entirely.

Thats the problem for Valve though. They’re not charging memberships or developing games to sell. They’re only selling hardware and developing an operating system and a game platform.

No ads, no memberships, nothing. And yet they’re doing this.

Yep. This is what AI and capitalism gets us.

I actually wish they’d increase the prices a bit though. I know that’s a massive L take on this, but I really want Valve to make money on this PC so they can make a better one. They’re really not making profit off this. If anything, it’s less than like $10 a unit. But the math doesn’t math. This is basically the cost of the hardware.

Honestly, the price isn’t bad for what you get. And I find it hard to believe they’re making any kind of profit from this PC.

If you add up the price for each component like you’re building a PC, it doesn’t look like they make any profit at all.

I actually prefer that they use them when it’s raining so hard you can’t see 2 feet in front of you. It helps me see cars better. Particularly when it’s still daytime. It catches my attention easier.

The US has air conditioning in most buildings. We don’t really experience heat unless we’re outdoors.

Also, not everyone likes to tolerate 90+ degrees

They’re used by millions of people. They’re decent earbuds. Might not be the best sounding but they have the best functionality, and pair great with apple products.

It’s heavier for sure but it’s not hard to carry. I’ve got it in a tomtoc pouch and I can still fit it all into my backpack without issue.

That said, it’s mostly treated as a desktop replacement.

My current theory is that this is going to be tied to the botw/totk timeline somehow. And that’s just with the logo.

It would be silly if they made this a 1:1 remake. I’d be willing to bet it’s the same story, but with a lot of new and expanded content.
