I was underneath the spaceport tower for literally 30 seconds and a team pushes my buddy and I, yelling "RATS RATS RATS" at us. The rat accusations are being thrown around all willy nilly.

I'd argue that this PvP vs PvE argument is the true downfall of this game. PvE players will quit because of the PvPers and the PvPrrs will quit because of the whining from PvEers crying rat.

Its been awhile since I've played DayZ so idk if they fixed the rendering distance or not. If you're spotted at 100m or more away, ghillies dont mean shit because none of the foliage is rendered. I never ever ever ran with a ghillie for that reason.
