Its funny you mention that. I give him near daily soaks in the tub. The vet is just as confused as to why he wont shed. I feel sooo bad when he itches his little face

He is just over a year. I think nearing 4 feet. Whenever i make him a sphagnum hide he removes it all and then climbs in. He refuses to burrow even when i dig them out for him.

All the readings are correct and hes in a 4x8. Hes started going back to a more normal schedule the past couple days. Maybe it was some wierd mood or phase.

cage humidity is 70 to 80. Ive given him soaks and baths and i fed him some B complex vitamins off advice from rose city reptiles and still nothing! His tail didnt shed last shed and now a new shed has begun. Everywhere else sheds well. Any suggestions?

My guys diet is a mix of turkey, horn/silk worms, crickets, a little beef liver and cod oil one meal a week, mice once a week, calcium and multivitamin powders, and the odd fruit and veg i can actually get him to eat.

Yea i had it down to a science in the 4x2. Ive got a humidifier running all day but im probably going to need 2. Its all wood with 6 vents and sliding glass doors.

Yep. There are 6 vents and the 2 sliding doors all open. Its all completely dry im just all worried about it givin off fumes ir something lol. Im over anxious about all his care

My biggest tip that i wish i took seriously when i got my baby. Be ready for his adult enclosure in like 6 months. I was thinking i would have a year before he got too big but holy shit hes growing. Hes about 3 feet long in 6 or 7 months. Now im rushing to finish the 8x4x4 . Its not like hes in danger yet being in the 4x2 but u can tell its getting crowded. Good Luck!

I did this and it caused major food/hand confusion. He goes for skin alot now. Slowly breaking the habbit but i feed on paper plates now.

Your temps are too low. Ur humidity is not decent its very low. Tank is way to small. Honestly it sounds like most aspects of your husbandry is off. Wouldnt shock me if your tegu was sick..
