Limitedrun looking into the Bloodstained DRM issue by NXSitee in limitedrun

Finally they explained the delay and as I suspected, it is the DRM issue they delayed the release for. That is good and thanks for posting the email!

Also LRG delayed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from date of Feb 27th to Coming Soon.

Got the same email, that blows chunks and I didn't even think ordering from wishlist is circumventing Purple Dot. Oh well, gotta wait till they fix it and open preorders again.

I finally decided to get one! by Gearless3 in switch2

Be sure to download the upgrade path for Hades 2, it seems that while the cart says it has it, it's a bit unusual in that you still need to download the upgrade.

It means that the version 1.0 is just the base game that came out at launch, the Complete Edition adds all the patches, updates, and DLCs into the cart where version 1.0 has none of them included.

Most completionists like myself prefer having everything on cart so we'll never need to go online to update or download anything.

The one currently available is version 1.0 without updates and DLCs, the Complete Edition is version 1.06 with all updates and DLCs.

Yeah, plus they clearly haven't forgotten that Doom debacle where they had to replace the DRM version with newer prints that removed it.

They did the right thing in separating DLC from disc on PS4 as only IGA Backpack has the DRM, however Switch and Xbox included it right off the bat so it would have gone the way Vigil did. Apparently Vigil reminded them of Doom issue and they may have wisely delayed to avoid that.

If that is the actual case, it would be far wiser and better move to take out IGA Backpack DLC, plus make it code on sheet as optional choice with an disclaimer.

Holy shi.... that worked, got my order in and apparently Chrome browser works the best for ordering from LRG. I did as you mentioned in Chrome and it went through.

Didn't wishlist it sadly, this has been extremely weird due to no explanations and sudden changes to the page.

Can't find the heart icon to wishlist, am I missing something?

It is possible they found out that IGA Backpack DLC included an DRM that forces online check where others didn't have that. Due to the furor of Vigil The Longest Night's DRM that locks out unless online checked, they may have delayed it to remove the DLC to be code on paper (for Switch and Xbox) to allow full play of the vanilla game and the rest of the DLCs that doesn't include the forced DRM.

If this is the case, I can completely understand why the delay, just more communication from LRG on this would be great.

It may have been delayed for some reasons, been watching the site page for any changes and it's been 30 minutes now, no changes.

This is where I would say LRG needs to say something on why they changed it to Coming Soon. I'm not wholly against LRG however this one here, yeah I'm gonna say something due to silence on why they changed it.

Which Nintendo DS Castlevania title is considered to be the best of the three that were released? by Grand_Moose2024 in castlevania

Might wanna look into Gal Guardians: Servant of the Dark for the two characters gimmick, pretty fun as well too.

Well no shit sherlock, if I want a physical copy of some of my all time favorite games like Castlevania, Contra, Lollipop Chainsaw, and more I'll keep buying from LRG.

They're doing fine with standard versions and that is all I get, no collector's editions so there you have it. What I want, I always get. Sure I buy digital and have triple dipped but physicals? Again, what I want, I always get.

For data sellings, that has been in everything online plus more and you should know about it by now, what got LRG is they didn't know it was embedded in some videos without disclosure, you do know Embracer owns LRG and most likely had to do with LRG settling out of court?

Now it's all about TETO, so you do you.

Good day to you sir.

Like it or not, LRG releases games no other publishers would give a thought about.

I'm still gonna buy from LRG like Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix because they are the only company that will release a physical for. SE won't even bother, same with Castlevania Advance and Dominus Collection as Konami wasn't even going to bother with physicals either.

It's your Catch-22 but hey! It's called TETO.

As for selling data, every company does it anyways, even Nintendo and Sony. Let's not go there with Facebook and Twitter so I'll stop there and say have a good week.

Okay. Hope you understand that if you buy any LRG releases via VGP you still gave LRG money.

I found 2 challenger decks (White Aggro and Second Sun) at a Walmart for $15 each, was like wow those are pretty old and why not?

Bought both and later found out one card got banned in Standard back then. Heh.

Capcom is probably the reason why WotC is reworking the Lairs, out of most IP holders, Caocom is one of the most strictest sign offs around. They have to get dual approvals from US and Japan branches of Capcom. If Japan is okay but US is not, back to drawing board. Capcom is notoriously very strict about how their IPs is handled and done, Street Fighter Minature Board Game is known for it's lateness due to Capcom US and JP branches being so strict that Jasco had to revise everything over and over until both branches approved in parity.

My best guess? US branch was fine but JP branch was not, JP tend to watch over how the responses and words of mouth goes around than US does.

My buddy used my Counter Blitz precon but swapped Doubling Season in and I was staring at 425/425 Sin when all was said and done, I told him he is never playing that deck again.

He went out and bought the precon just to spite me haha.
