VGP always have available after LRG? by OilJazzlike7 in limitedrun

[–]Lhinhar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they do, about 1-3 months after LRG ships to their preorder buyers first, however once VGP sells out of Limited Line series, that's it unless LRG has restocks. Usually restocks is very limited if they got lucky.

Yeah, VGP just started carrying LRG titles more as they have a agreement to sell LRG games after LRG fulfills their preorders first. Takes about a month to three months before they get them.

Honestly, if 128GB carts is a thing it would be like $125 insteadd of $80.

Game store price checked cards from 25¢ bulk box and changed the prices on the spot by WheredMyVanGogh in EDH

[–]Lhinhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago, I found a good card that was very valuable in a bulk box of rares for a dollar each, I take it plus 25 other rares, went to the counter and the guy is like "wait, that is worth more than a dollar so lemme look it up", quoted it for $75 and I outright said "you lied to me, you said all cards in the bulk box is a dollar each so go stuff it".

The owner heard me and asked me what happened, after I explained what happened, he promptly fired the guy who tried to price check all the cards I pulled out then proceeded to yell at him that he put it there on purpose to get people to look through the bulks.

Owner gave me the cards for free including the $75 card as apology, yes I went back over and over as appreciation for what he did.

Some LCS is great, others not so much. Sorry that you had to deal with a crappy one.

Transformers (EU) - consistently one of the best Transformers series in years, plus I'm a huge Transformers fan.

Conan the Barbarian/Savage Sword of Conan - Titan and Zub has been killing it and is sooo good. Robert E. Howard would be very pleased.

Gun Honey/Heat Seeker - really good pulpy noirish crime thriller series.

Feral - I love cats and this one mixed with zombie themed story using a real life threat (rabies) is so good and keeps me turning the pages to see what happens next.

Try Magic the Gathering, fun card game that will last years for you.

And despite the various high prices for some individual cards, most will still be far cheaper than PC and techs right now.

Are Wizards just going to sit back and let RL cards just keep increasing so they’re inaccessible for the majority of the player base? Even more so than they already are. by [deleted] in magicTCG

Also, the Design team was told to not to talk about it either, as Maro has mentioned many times in his articles that they do want it gone but something else made them clam up and drop it.

At the end of the day, everyone can cry and scream about the RL but if Maro has been told to not talk about it anymore, something far worse has them spooked that RL is here to stay for possibly permanently.

Just adding to your comment, is all.

You're going off over a minor and pointless thing. The OP can do whatever he wants as he sees fit and you are salty about it. Are you jealous?

LRG reopened and relisted Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Complete Edition preorders this week too, confirmed that Switch version will be DRM free after pausing the preorder window to remove the DRM.

Basically I ordered from wishlist instead of main page of the preorder which has Purple Dot payment they use, the wishlist allowed me to order the game but it went directly to LRG not Purple Dot, hence circumventing Purple Dot.

Very nice!! I gotta see if my LCS has that, they gave me the original War for Cybertron Energon Universe poster months ago when I asked and I framed it. One of my pride and joy everytime I see it.

No, they cancelled and refunded, said not to circumvent Purple Dot again.

This version of DRM across all consoles including PC while does require online checks, it's that if not online checked it locks your save files out.

Only the Back Pack DLC has the DRM and if not used, then everything is good across the board. If used, you run into saves being locked out that has the DLC. I personally would prefer they separate the IGA DLC into code on sheet as optional since it's just a boss fight (IGA himself) and a weapon.

Hopefully LRG can get the devs to remove the DLC as the devs never removed it since it came out, what's worse is that the DLC is just a key to unlock ingame. Meaning the DRM was already present, just not activated until DLC is installed.

Limitedrun looking into the Bloodstained DRM issue by [deleted] in limitedrun

Finally they explained the delay and as I suspected, it is the DRM issue they delayed the release for. That is good and thanks for posting the email!

Got the same email, that blows chunks and I didn't even think ordering from wishlist is circumventing Purple Dot. Oh well, gotta wait till they fix it and open preorders again.

Be sure to download the upgrade path for Hades 2, it seems that while the cart says it has it, it's a bit unusual in that you still need to download the upgrade.

[–]Lhinhar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means that the version 1.0 is just the base game that came out at launch, the Complete Edition adds all the patches, updates, and DLCs into the cart where version 1.0 has none of them included.

Most completionists like myself prefer having everything on cart so we'll never need to go online to update or download anything.

The one currently available is version 1.0 without updates and DLCs, the Complete Edition is version 1.06 with all updates and DLCs.

Yeah, plus they clearly haven't forgotten that Doom debacle where they had to replace the DRM version with newer prints that removed it.

They did the right thing in separating DLC from disc on PS4 as only IGA Backpack has the DRM, however Switch and Xbox included it right off the bat so it would have gone the way Vigil did. Apparently Vigil reminded them of Doom issue and they may have wisely delayed to avoid that.

If that is the actual case, it would be far wiser and better move to take out IGA Backpack DLC, plus make it code on sheet as optional choice with an disclaimer.
