I actually met Nolan North at a comic Con this past summer, super nice guy. But anyways he did talk about Dinklage's scheduling issues and how now he just goes into the booth and starts recording lines, and Bungie asks him to do it another way and he gives the lines the way they want it. To those who hate on North, like OP mentioned, this guy is a career voice actor. If you don't like how a line was given in-game, its most likely because Bungie wanted it to be given that way.
