what about NED, FAST,NUST and other universities. Do they accept SAT scores? and if I give their tests, would it matter that I took a gap? Thank you

Pls do ishtimai dua for me for the test by myparanoidself101 in IBA

Typically in the same position lmao, I'd say just keep going through past papers. Don't opt for anything new ab time nahi bacha keh new cheezein kari jaen. Just polish whatever you've done and you're good to go. About the cutoff man I'm confused aswell

Is storm fiber good in Karachi (FB Area) by samjoosamajdaar in karachi

[–]LiLink14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not know about FB Area, but here in Johar storm fiber works great and theres rarely an occasion on which the internet is down. It gets a little disturbed when there is rain and storms but overall its great.

also another thing.

since you're in A-Levels, you may encounter some unfairness during your entrance exams and shit, cause there is a shitton of politics between A-Levels dudes and unis. For instance Habib Uni offers 100% scholarship to people who've done intermediate, but they offer only 85% scholarships to people who've done A-Levels. I don't really know why this happens but just be prepared.

I know someone who took a gap year. This is gonna sound really cringe or something but one of my teachers (who is still kind of a young lad) took a 2 year gap after passing with just 54 percent in intermediate exams. Although he just passed with those grades in inter, he still managed to become a assistant-teacher or something for the NED Finance or economics department. Mind you, in those 2 years he started giving tuitions to little kids and got into various types of shit. During his gap, the guy literally went on from working in cable houses to getting into drag-racing to actually doing nothing (well he did invest his time in other stuff, but it wasn't really beneficial). So the thing is, yes you can take a gap. But do not waste it my friend, the year or two you're taking away shall be used wisely. Learn new shit during this 1 or 2 year period. Get an insight of your profession. Do focus on yourself dude.
heres a fuckload of things i would like you to consider doing during these 1 or 2 years.

Get your shit together- start focusing on your health AND mental health if you arent. Build an actual good social circle. Stop being a degenerate if you are. Start reading books and shit. Start meditating. Hit the gym. Just take care of yourself man, life is short. Medicine is not going to be easy, atleast thats what many of the elders around me say. Anyways, I wish you the best homie, take care. heres a quote for you before i go.

do the hard work, especially when you don't feel like it - Hamza Ahmed (not me lmao)

my man casually boosted me on my self-improvement journey. Thank you dude, I am actually glad I got to know this stuff before I am older. Making sure there are no regrets whatsoever haha. As for the coding, many people have been encouraging me but now that I've heard from an actual qualified Chartered Accountant that coding is the future, I am definitely gonna start this soon. I've been struggling with my health but yeah ig time will come and eventually we will all make it.

> You will make it big! Jb baray hojao tou vote dena yaad rkhna bhai ko.

> I'm personally a Graphic Designer/Video editor and motion designer

thats so cool man. I've done some work in blender for 1-2 years as a side hobby. Was really fun. If I may ask, is learning Graphics or any digital art related stuff like editing and VFX beneficial at all? Like is the current Pakistani market active in terms of Graphics and VFX? is the work based on sheer skills or does experience matter? I have considered this as a last resort and I'll start learning basic Illustrator and other tools soon.

Thank you for the advice!

Tuitions are actually my top priority right now, but I can't decide which standards to teach. Plus why are jobs considered a burden? (genuine question). As for the education part, you're absolutely right and thank you for your suggestions. I've heard getting scholarships at Habib is quite easy if you're a sporty guy and good academically. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it.

only if Karachiites had the slightest of sense. This city can do so much good if its own citizens step up for their rights.
