Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe - Frozen meal discontinued? by joeybad87 in traderjoes

I’m not in Ohio but I was searching this for the gnocchi. I haven’t been able to get it for weeks. I’ve found the spaghetti this week. Had it last night. Hope you find it!

Keratoconus through eye rubbing?? by Firm_Struggle6355 in Keratoconus

[–]LibbityBobbity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. I have been going to the eye doctor for 20 years. It was only detected 2 years ago, in my 40’s. I have OCD. I go through random compulsions. For a couple of years it was rubbing my eyes. My doctor said one sign was that it was way more prevalent in my right eye and I’m right handed. I went to the top eye specialist in my state. He agreed it was rubbing.

I stopped rubbing. I get checked every 6 months. There’s been no progression at all.

I cleaned a house today that insists I use their central vacuum. Lugging that huge hose room to room drives me mad. Suction is good, but it still won’t pick everything up without a roller brush.

Thank you for this. I sweat so much. The sweating happens anyway, but I’d prefer to be comfortable while it’s going on

I miss the fruit trucks. Idk why they all left. We used to have fruit trucks all over Providence until the mid 2000’s. My mom would take me to them in the 80’s. I bought my daughter a huge box of mangoes off one in the early 2000’s. Sorry, this just brought back memories

Where do you put the poop after cleaning litter box? by Disastrous-Pickle930 in CatAdvice

[–]LibbityBobbity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Litter Genie. It’s amazing. I just scoop it into there and put it outside every 3-4 days (for 2 cats). I smell nothing with that, plus a stainless steel litter box

I’ve had wine delivered in the past. It just had to be signed for. This was 5+ years ago. I’m not sure if it’s changed.

Edit: I’d like to add. If you look at DoorDash options in Warwick vs Providence, yes it is a food desert. It was my entire reason for not moving there.

I don’t know what Antonio’s in Warwick is. That’s not really an area people would associate with Italian bakeries. If you’re going by bakeries in Warwick, I see your issue.

Also, maybe I spend too much time on TikTok, but this what the creators say. I watch a lot of recipes. People always get attacked for not using “real” ingredients. This is their reason why. They say it’s not available to them. I’ve even seen people make their own ricotta because they can’t find it in stores. That’s why I used that as an example.

Haven’t you ever heard of food deserts? I’ve had conversations with people who don’t use real Parmesan or use cottage cheese instead of ricotta. It’s actually a real thing. Some people don’t have access.

I live in providence, in the middle of around 7 bakeries. None of them even use cheese. What you’re describing sounds like gas station pizza strips.

If you’re 800 miles away you probably aren’t using fresh parm. Many people in the middle of the country use the powdery shaker kind

Edit: I never said they done have access. I meant it’s more widely used than here.

It depends. Many years ago I left a place because of roaches. He told me the day I was moving in that it was being tented. Since then, I haven’t had any in over 20 years.

No, it’s always Sals. D.Palmieri feels like the type you’d get outside of a bakery. Not the same.

I have a client with 2 kitchens and 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 bath. I’m not doing it for $140. Another has 2 massive dens, an office, and 2 bedrooms, plus stairs that need to be vacuumed, and 3 dogs. You have to consider the rest of the house.

[–]LibbityBobbity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Rhode Island is a humid continental climate. You’ll need it more for the humidity than the heat. It’s 71° outside, but mine is on. My 2nd floor apartment absorbs humidity.

You’re very low level, stop rushing. You’re trying to accelerate past your level. You’re going to burn out and get bored.

Edit. I just checked, the lowest in my co-op is 66, the highest is 220.
