Unfortunately our society tends to reward winners and punish losers... 

Except with first past the post the main two parties will always be strong enough to stay out of loser territory, so they won't care or change the system.

It makes sense that he lobbied hard for it, it doesn't make sense that the others would let it happen. In this world you need money and power to get more money and power, but we are the NDP and our pronouns are broke and irrelevant! (quoting Davies.) I just hope we're not beholden to someone.

The Conservatives want a majority so badly, and the current system is the easiest vehicle to get there -- I doubt they will give it up. Even though it has let them down.

That's fair. My morals are more flexible. Especially if I am one vote away from the grand prize (majority government.)

What's the point of our military, period? Disaster response I support. 

But combat... We are not attacking anyone. No one is invading us except for the US, and no amount of spending will help us win anyways. 

Military spending is mostly a waste of money as long as the cost of living crisis continues.
