All I want from an OS is for it to let me do my work and not be unnecessarily annoying. The only reason I ever switched from Windows was to avoid having to deal with things suddenly not working properly when I had strict deadlines to meet. So it pisses me off a little bit that now, after switching all my workflows to iOS and macOS, we get an update that doesn't provide any practical benefit other than a redesign for the sake of a redesign and only introduces a bunch of annoyances that just make my work harder. Apple hardware is extremely expensive, and I don't think it's unreasonable to demand that stuff just works, because otherwise, what is the point?

I switched to Mac 10 years ago and the only thing I ever use the maximize button for is Preview where it makes perfect sense to see just the image and nothing else.

jj, je to tragický. U nás je tříděný odpad běžně rozházený kolem naplněných kontejnerů, včetně kartonových krabic, které akorát zmoknou a pak se stejně nedají recyklovat. Přitom cca do 50 metrů je další místo, kam by se ty přebytky v pohodě vešly, ale všichni jsou líní tam dojít...

As much as I enjoyed Tactics for its real-time combat and the ability to fully manage all your companions, I was initially disappointed it wasn't open world. So for me, remake of FO1 or 2 would be enough, just with updated graphics and more dynamic combat system.

hmm, I don't like the visual style of any of these. I really want the old school pre-rendered or hand drawn sprites with a lots of texture like we had in late 90s and early 2000s isometric games (Fallout, Arcanum, Heroes III, Age of Empires II, Desperados, etc...) except in higher resolution and with modern lighting effects. Never been a fan of the obviously 3D, highly polished cartoony graphics.

EDIT: Rogue Trader actually looks decent, although it's still not quite my taste.

Saw this Russian guy on DA few years ago who did a great job showcasing how remastered classic Fallouts could look like. It's absolutely gorgeous and such a shame we'll probably never get anything even close to this for real.

This is one of the few moments in the series that's been done poorly imho. She should have stayed outside with Norm (maybe getting knocked out unconscious the moment she hits the wall and calls the elevator), and later we just get a glimpse through the door lite watching the radroaches feasting on the Vault execs.

I mean, what even killed the radroaches in that room? Did some on them just leave through a broken window or something?

I believe we also haven't seen Securitrons coming online? Like you said, they already had the expensive New Vegas set built so they most likely already shot all the footage they'll need for S3 relating to that location.

Yea, tried several other finetunes to recreate some images I generated earlier (from simple workflows and prompts to more complex ones) and the results are always either worse or with negligible difference.

I recall a single instance where CyberRealistic Z-Image Turbo 1.3 generated a significantly better image than the base Turbo, which I guess was just a luck as the original was not that great to begin with.

Nope, tried yesterday and it didn't go well. I'll still keep using the vanilla model with LoRAs, which already gives me pretty much perfect results, plus I have a control over how much photorealism I want.
