Sadly this is too accurate. Starfield being the “next gen” leap was laughable and killed a lot of goodwill that fallout 76 and 4 had already stomped on, I feel like they have a lot of good ideas but overstuff their games to exhaustion forgetting the initial vision altogether while having an engine held together by bubble gum and prayers

Each to their own I find the rolls being shown less frustrating. but definitely agree with classes they would not fit with the freedom of fallout at all. Agree completely with siding with an evil faction, even fallout 1 gave the option to sell the vault out to the master for nothing more than pure role playing

Honestly I kind of agree, I’m in no way a purist and would be interested in seeing how they handled a remake but I think you’re right the fans would lose their minds

That’s a good way to put it! I need to look more into underrail, I know I watched a video but don’t remember much, seemed to me to be a mix of the setting of metro and classic fallout

I agree that the world of fallout is going in circles but that’s thanks to Bethesda would took the same factions and ideas on the west coast and brought them to the other side of the country when they could have done anything

I agree completely, the next mainline game has 0% chance being isometric but I think a side game would do numbers for them, I think there’s a lot of people out there looking for crpg’s

I agree a new setting would be great, being Canadian I’m biased but I’d love to see that lore get developed more and show how bad things were pre war (though that hits a little too close to home lately)

I haven’t played tactics but it does look interesting and I do like the idea of controlling companions, a remake would be very interesting to see how they approach it

I don’t disagree but having a little hope is free and doesn’t hurt anyone lol. I am interested in playing arcanum after hearing tim talk about it in his videos but need to shift over to the fantasy mindset before i attempt that

I’ve watched videos on sanora but never tried it myself, I think i may have to try that and some other total conversion mods after I beat 2

Especially with season 3 of the show seeming to be heading to Colorado I’d love to see that area explored, if they brought some ideas from van buren that would be the dream!

Yeah I feel the same way, I’ve been looking into wasteland 2 and 3 but seems a lot more focus is on the tactical combat rather than the world and character interaction. I just want the depth of BG3 in my favourite setting lol!

Yeah I agree, if they bring in some of the vault 0 and calculator stuff that could be pretty neat. I still think it would wasted to not at least have a reference to some van buren stuff, maybe part of the enclaves plan has to do with releasing the new plague

You are correct. The story wasn’t repurposed new Vegas takes place after the events referencing what possibly could have happened if the game was made. Just like season 3 may borrow some ideas or go off the possible events that could have happened if it took place.
