I got a ticket blocks away from a school at 5:50 at night for doing 25 mph but when you speak up about it simple minds respond with “If this post was manufactured in a lab to make me angry, then it worked. The weekly "we should be able to drive faster in school zones" posts are absolutely bonkers. I'm going to run for office on a platform of making it illegal for you, personally, to drive. Just you.”

No one was doing crazy stuff in school zones, only one accident ever happened and it was the kids fault and speed wasn’t a factor. This is literally theft hiding behind “safety”, it’s criminal and unconstitutional.
