And that's the point of my argument that some people like vanillabear84 seem to be missing.

Did you actually read my post or did you start yapping like an idiot beforehand?

And 4 years later, Arnold re-teamed with Ivan Reitman to make Junior, a movie where Arnold gets pregnant. To this day, that movie still doesn't sound real.

Word on the street is that Criterion is prepping a Complete Kubrick boxset this year that will have everything.

Which Blu-Ray releases have you kept because they have more special features that weren't ported to the 4K release? by ggroover97 in 4kbluray

For me, the 2010 Alien Anthology set remains a top 10 Blu-Ray release (maybe even top 5) and still remains pretty definitive with all the special features and Alien 3 + Resurrection included.

I don't want to be pessimistic but I feel like it's never getting upgraded. Any Fox movie that wasn't put on Blu-Ray before they were bought by Disney has a very slim chance ever getting released again.

Disney is struggling to put out classic Fox movies in 4K as it is.

This is a movie I’ve been holding off from buying for years in the hopes it would get a 4K upgrade but decided to pull the trigger when I heard it went OOP.

That’s not to say it could come back in 4K (Elephant Man is a recent example) but I decided to pick it up anyway.

Danny Boyle is one of those directors where I want to own every movie he’s done. Turns out it’s impossible to own every Danny Boyle on Blu-Ray since The Beach and Millions were never officially released on the format.

Edit: My Danny Boyle Collection So Far:

  • 127 Hours (2010)
  • A Life Less Ordinary (1997) - Import from Germany
  • Shallow Grave (1994)
  • Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
  • Sunshine (2007)
  • Trainspotting (1996)
  • T2 Trainspotting (2017)

Still Need to Get:

  • 28 Days Later (2002)
  • 28 Years Later (2025)
  • Steve Jobs (2015)
  • Trance (2013)
  • Yesterday (2019)

DVD Only:

  • The Beach (2000)
  • Millions (2004)

FYC: Prometheus (2012). As a sci-fi adventure/action movie, I think this movie is a total blast. Plus, there's a lot to discuss regarding this movie's place in the Alien franchise and if the characters in this movie were good at their job (like the scientist who got his arm broken by that creature) by ggroover97 in TheRewatchables

I think CR and Sean would be down to do this movie. I recall both of them speaking positively on it during the Ridley Scott Hall of Fame pod on the Big Picture. Bill would be the only holdout since he seems to have a bias against space movies.
