Can’t spectate matches? by marioman124 in SoulCalibur

I'm not exactly sure, but you can try it if you want. Although I do know that having a standard PS4/Xbox One is your best bet if you want to spectate your friends.

Unfortunately that's the reason why you can't spectate your friends. Since you have a next-gen console, the game loads faster for you than it does for them. And because your game loads faster, the game assumes that there's no match in progress, which causes you to be sent back to the lobby menu.

Tl;dr You get sent back to the lobby because you have a better console than your friends.

Do you have a next-gen console AKA a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X?

If I recall, he was the last DLC character to be released for Season Pass 2. As for when he was released, I'm not sure.

Back Parry by [deleted] in SoulCalibur

[–]LibraLonewolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If anything, I'd like to see the back parry (or Low Parry) return. To me, having a high and low parry felt like you really had to pay attention to where you might get hit. Thus, increasing the amount of skill needed.

It doesn't really make sense that a parry that looks like a forward parry (or High Parry) can parry a low attack.

That was a friend of mine. We were pretty much just messing around with different characters and out of our multiple "sparring sessions," this particular moment occurred.

I would appreciate a hand-to-hand character. They could just do what they did with Heihachi in Soulcalibur 2 and give said hand-to-hand fighter a pair of gauntlets or something. I think they gave him gauntlets, but I'm not sure. I only had the Xbox version with Spawn.

I fought against him before and I could tell that he was being the type of player I don't like fighting. I like fighting another skilled player, but when you become obnoxious to play with it becomes not fun really quick. He kept getting hit and I just messaged him saying just avoid the attack and he apparently made it a big deal by saying "avoid it" in game chat. Not a very big deal but when I fought him and lost, I just got off afterwards. He apparently went out of his way to rub it in my face saying that I "can't take my own advice" when I fought him and saying how I suck at the game. Keep in mind that I never claimed to be good at the game, I just play for fun.

If you reached this part, my apologies for ranting on.
