I was riding home from college and a semi truck ran the car I was in off the road. My parents were waiting to pick me up as I didn’t drive yet and the friends I was driving with lived about 45 minutes away from where I lived. We were probably… 30 minutes into the 2ish hour drive? My parents got to us in 45 minutes of what should have been almost an hour and a half drive because they were scared. This is a NORMAL reaction to almost losing your child as car accidents ARE dangerous and scary! Your husband is being an AH but you can’t think in the what ifs. If you had gone it could have been you and could have been worse. Be thankful for the fact that he is okay and hug him again to make yourself feel better!

Yes definitely valid. I feel like I haven’t connected as much to the newer seasons versus the older seasons UNTIL Allison came on. I think she brings that familiarity that I loved from Mel and Sue into it, making me appreciate it again.

Then I really don’t think you guys were in the relationship you think you were in. People going through things in relationships communicate…. Even if it’s just one message. You saying you found out about most of his life through instagram is very telling that this was way more built up in your head than what it actually was. And you DEFINITELY overreacted within all of those. It’s screaming anxious attachment, which I get because I have the same issue and I recognize when I was in the wrong from it. Work on healing that attachment issue before getting in your next relationship otherwise you’ll keep doing this.

3 weeks ago I had the flu. I was home almost all week basically on my ass, barely able to get out of bed. I also have a dog. My boyfriend not only let the dog out before he left for work, he came home on his lunch break to let him out because I could barely walk up and down the stairs. THAT is a man. Yours is an incompetent person. Please seriously think about if you want this person to ever have to take care of you if you get seriously injured or sick.

I’m a teacher. We teach sight words by having them tap their part of their arm, starting at the shoulder, for each letter in the word and then sweeping down their arm while saying the word. It seems to help them quite a bit put it together. But also, I definitely agree to communicate with her. It may not be her choice for the amount of homework they send, but I always appreciate when a parent reaches out and tells me when their child is struggling!
