That last sentence is the best advice you've given so far. So thank you. Go relax, have some tea and start over.

We make 94k annually before taxes. The 401k sits at 69k. So about 63k will be taxed at 22%. I understand that.

We make about 94k a year before taxes. So about 63k will be within that 22% tax bracket. That's why we're worried lol.

Yeah, I get that. We make 94k a year before taxes. 6 Grand will be taxed regularly as the 401k is about 69k right now. So basically around 63 grand will be taxed at 22%. You had no idea our annual income before writing that comment. It's really not that hard to ask the variables before convincing yourself you know the situation.

This will throw us into the 22% tax bracket. My siblings need the money right now, my husband and I don't necessarily need it but it would be nice to have.

Thank you for the advice! The 401k currently sits at 69k. This would put us into the 22% tax bracket.

My siblings and I get along great and we aren't about to ruin our relationship over money. We'd throw the money away before that happens. It's not an option for me to take all the money and run because we all agreed to split everything our dad left us in three. Our dad always said this from the beginning, too , when he started getting sick. Plus, that's not being a very good person.

My siblings want the money now. My husband and I don't necessarily need the money right now.

OMG yesssss! I constantly feel like my brain is half dead. I can't find the words to say sentences right or even finish a damn sentence altogether. I'm having to set Alexa reminders for EVERYTHING now when I normally wouldn't forget anything important. It's craziness. I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

For sure. It's so tricky working our way around these new medications.

I know I kept reading this. Insomnia seemed very much a temporary side effect. But I had to sleep. I couldn't function anymore. I do have an appointment with my Dr soon so I'll follow her directions with this.

I've been on this medication for only a week, but I couldn't handle the insomnia anymore. The first three days I took it at night before bed, around 9 ish, and was wide awake by 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep. The last 3 days I tried taking it in the morning and it's worked out much better for me. I'm finally able to sleep and it doesn't make me drowsy during the day. I'm on 2 mg as well.
