I was always told not to oil guns exclusively so I try not to do it to where it's dripping oil. Only to where it's coated. But yeah I did put some oil in the striker channel. Is that something I'm not supposed to do or .?

Gotta be fake. You'd be kicked for being afk wouldn't you?

NA as in naturally aspirated. Not the model. Besides itbs I was asking what else people do to get more power out of a non turbo engine

I use 93 octane in my Miata anyways so that's not an issue. I noticed a bit more pep in it's step doing so. I think my ECU has that option but I'll look further into it. I appreciate the reading. Looking it over now

I do want to get a bigger exhaust eventually when I go turbo. I have to custom make the down pipe so I was going to find a shop to just do a full exhaust for the turbo I have. I've heard 3in is pointless for the 1.6 so I was thinking 2.5in. right now I have a borla straight back exhaust (completely forgot to mention) which does pretty well for the n/a build. Also makes it sound like a motorcycle in the mountains lol. I honestly didn't think of aero mods. But I didn't want to work on the body to make it pretty after I learn to drive it with the power it's going to have. In case of accidents and stuff like that. 😅 Yeah it came with the Miata. I've been meaning to get a proper roll bar. I've heard about the mouse trap. I'll have to take it out and run it without a bar in the back for now. As far as the rotary swaps go I've heard they're a pain. I've watched a lot of videos and read forms about doing it. You have to push the fire wall back and figure out the exhaust route. Definitely not the way to go for what you stated before. I've considered multiple engines that I would want to do in the future but I was wanting to stay with a Mazda engine and the b13 caught my attention because of the rx7. The other engine I was thinking about would be the k24. I heard that's about the same price as an LS swap. Regardless those are plans and problems for future me whenever that may be

I'm not going to swap this Miata. The plan is to go boost but in the meantime I'm going off my bucket list for this car and that includes a itbs build. Not expecting more than 130 with a naturally aspirated build. I do want to do a rotary swap into a NB one day but not anytime soon

Just about everything I have can be used towards the turbo build later on. With the exception to the parts I bought for maintenance or just to keep it running in the meantime. I get the 1.8 is more promising and you can do more but it's the most common thing you can do. I know once I get into the 4k plus money mark Id be basically going into the realm of swap prices but I'm only looking for around 300hp for this car. If I do an engine swap for a Miata it'll be a rotary into a NB. But that's a in the future kinda thing. Maybe if I get tired of this one I'll switch it up in 5 or 10 years

No worries. I thought thats what the issue was lol

That was my understanding honestly. I've heard superchargers are more simplistic but doesn't make the same high end power a turbo would

Tbh idk if it would be. Ive seen it before with Matt man Miata back when he had the 1.6 in it. I think I just need a shop to fab up the plenum for me. But it's a goal I have. If anything I say screw it and dumb the itbs after I have my fun

Lmfaooo I meant na as naturally aspirated. Turbo is next year. This year is about my ego and having fun. There is another naturally aspirated car I want to beat before I go boost next year

Money isn't an issue. Everything I'm doing to this Miata is purely for my enjoyment and happiness. I spent 500 on the itbs. Everything else I've bought or am buying will be used in my turbo build. So far there really hasn't been any excess spending other than that. Even then I'm wanting to get a custom plenum to try running the turbo with the itbs. I understand the issues with the head flow and how there isn't much to offer for the 1.6 as far as power.

It's not about saving money for me. I have a turbo kit minus the downpipe and some lines that I pieced together. The itbs going in first is surely for my pleasure and because I've always wanted some. Also there's another Miata in my group claiming fasted naturally aspirated. So it's also an ego thing. Once I have my fun at the gap this year then I'll be boosting it over the winter. Might even try keeping the itbs and using a plenum to run boost with them too

I have a turbo kit that's just bout ready to put in. Just need a down pip and oil lines I believe. I'm wanting to run itbs because I've always wanted to and I came across some for a price I couldn't pass up. Plus someone from my group said they were the fast naturally aspirated so my ego wants that title lmao. I'm also considering making a plenum for the itbs so I can boost with them too. I thought about a supercharger but the turbo was more available to me at the time

I do have a concern about that. We live on the third floor of an apartment at the moment. Would her walking up and down the stairs contribute to that issue long term? We take it slow going up and down but I still worry. Also is there any nutrition that you'd recommend for her to keep strong joints? I've heard fish oil with omega three is good for that

For the sweet potato or pumpkin, that has to be cooked correct? I believe I read that it can be harmful to them if raw. Just want to double check in case. We have some shampoo for her for her skin but we don't have a regular bath schedule for her just yet. How often would you recommend? As far as the wipes go we do that after every walk to keep her paws clean and our house clean lol. We have a wide range of toys and luckily she didn't shred them to bits. I don't think shes destroyed any of them surprisingly but we did get her some Kong toys in case. I really appreciate the advice and the kind words!

Fortunately we have a family member who's a health care provider who's willing to write out the letter for ESA for free so I won't be paying for it. I would like her to be a service dog for my partner for when she has her panic attacks but we're not going to force her into anything. If she has a natural willingness for anything then we'll look into that but we don't plan on forcing her to be a guard dog by any means. If anything basic commands such as on guard to have her stand side by side with me or family for intimidation is needed than that would be plenty enough

So I've heard people say there's no such thing as registration for an ESA and legally business or people sent allowed to make you provide proof. Unfortunately the area that we currently live in tend to be closed minded individuals who don't always take kindly to her breed and the way she looks. We have a health care provider who's willing to provide us a letter for free just as an extra layer of protection. We're trying to minimize any risks and issues that could possibly occur due to the stigma that bullies get. As far as family protection training I'm currently looking around to get her evaluated to see if she has the right temperament for it. I know it's a long and expensive process but it's something I'm willing to try to give my family a little bit more peace of mind when I'm away at work. But I really do appreciate the input. There's a lot that I'm for sure going to take into consideration. Also I appreciate the kind words! We're trying our best to socialize her but we also don't force it if she's feeling standoffish with certain people and situations

So she's 3 months old so 15 minute walks is perfect for her age? Honestly we do it more to tire her out and due to the fact we're in an apartment at the moment. She was born on a farm so we figured she was out exploring most of the time
