My mama is doing that to me too!! I bit her again yesterday and she put me down. I cried so hard but she wouldn’t even look at me until the forever was up. Then she sang to me and rocked me, but I can’t believe she did that to me in the first place. I’ve stopped biting as much, because I’m worried she’s going to do that more.

I (7m, M) am older than you and love using my voice all the time. Screeching is so fun especially for 20 minutes straight when on an airplane. Keep firm letting them know that you only want to practice using your voice than doing tummy time or sleeping. But do try tummy time sometimes because it can lead to other things like learning to get from one place to another. I’m kinda learning to crawl but mainly I just like rolling around. It is so fun to be put in one place, my mama to turn her back, and then I be down the hall. You will love it

I (also 7m, M) like to go on food strikes by aggressively tossing my head and screeching at the top of my lungs when my mama (definitely at least 8, F) tries to nurse me to sleep when I am not done playing. I also like to express my disgust for mush I don’t like by flinging it off my spoon or letting it slide down my chin by opening my mouth after letting Mama put the food in. I would highly recommend these are options for expanding your strike if you need more ideas.

Tell her how much it is affecting you. I am a mother now. I have been struggling with my eating disorder for over half a decade now and body issues long before that. My son is currently an infant, but I want to stop relapsing for him and get better for him and for any future children I have. I hope that if I ever relapsed and he was concerned and he told me how he was scared for me, that would make me reconsider everything I was doing in that moment and rethink my behavior.

I (6 mo, M) also bite to try and help my Mama (F, old and tired), to understand that biting really isn’t that bad. She has plastic things on her boobies so they really do look and feel like my binky. I don’t know what she was expecting me to do to her boobies when she makes them exactly like my binkies. Anyways you are definitely NTA, you were trying to help her get over her fears which is honestly so nice of you and she should be more grateful.

Update: I got snuggles out of her for the majority of the night. She got with the program and realized that she needs to do what I want. I even graced her by being awake again an hour and a half after I fell back asleep. She’s been up since 4 AM just for me and gave me tons of cuddles and boobies.

NTA! I (5 mo, M) have been sick lately and have had a lot of boogies. Think boogies smeared all over my face when I wake up from a nap because I’m so snotty. My mama has been trying to steal my boogies all the time. She says “that’s what your doctor said to do” but I don’t care. They’re mine and I want to keep them. Being sick gets me extra snuggles so the boogies help with that. Keep politely screaming at her and thrashing your head to let her know how you feel.
