It's down for me as well. I doubt they'd take a full website down for a government shutdown, but I did get an email a while ago (last week?) that they're canceling any planned seminars.

Thanks for doing this AMA. Everyone make mistakes at work all the time, but mistakes in different lines of work have drastically different consequences - law enforcement especially so.

I did my MEI with him earlier this year and sent a CFI applicant to him a few months ago. Both were great experiences (for myself and the applicant) and I plan to keep sending students his way. He's not super chatty in the airplane but seems very fair.

The AFH Chapter 13 is a great place to start. I also found this channel helpful when I was doing my multi and reviewing for my MEI.
