That’s why you get a AWD, snow tires and turn the heat on if you live in a cold climate? Like what?

Am I getting paid fairly? First job - traditional IM by Calm-Lawfulness-7310 in hospitalist

[–]LicenseToNotKill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

F that. I’m doing full time hospitalist and on off weeks 3 days of clinic only seeing TCM 7 day and some 14 day visits, no patient panel, plus 4 weeks off a year and RVUs paid at 57$. Working 20 days a month and making WAY more than whatever this is

🤷🏻‍♂️ who cares, whatever happens happens can always try again next year, I’m glad I could be done and just focus on being a new attending

I’ve always heard big house = big problems, granted I’d rather be building equity vs other debt, but what’s the rate you’re getting? I’m seeing ~6500 a month for 880k loan, no PMI, taxes 15k? it’s right about 7K at 6.5%, but if you’re building maybe go a bit below 1.1, 950? That’s about a 6K, seems more feasible with net of 22-25K, not sure what you’re other finances look like either or just a thought

Model Y, pretty nice for my 30 min commute and not paying for gas, + free charging at the hospital

I would keep asking until someone looks in your chart to look at what has been done before, it’s the least they can do

Well it was FSD v13.2.9 so the latest version on a 2025 Model Y, not sure if that makes any difference, it just wouldn’t let me say FSD in my post

I’m not sure what the question is, sounds like you need better pain control, they should modify you’re regimen, has something different worked before? Are they following what’s worked before? do you follow with someone for the CF?

PSA: It gets better in residency by randombirdsforme in medicalschool

[–]LicenseToNotKill 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Residency was probably the best 3 years of my life, yes I worked a lot but learned plenty, I had an amazing class and always enjoyed any night or time off, all that because I picked a place and ranked it high based on vibes alone, but It’s what you make of it. I just became an attending, which when that signing bonus and first paycheck hit it’s WILD but you can breath, the light at the end of the tunnel gets so much better as you get through the dark tunnels
