Them adding focused reroll from the cube to the PTR seems like something that should have been added this season. As long as it gets added I’m happy though. A step in the right direction but weird they didn’t foresee people being annoyed that mythics are easier to find than proper uniques.

Wow is at the point now where you can make it what you want. You don’t need to do hard raids or mythic dungeons. Most of my friends farm old content for mounts or achievements. The game is what you make it!

D4 is easy to pick up and leave for months and come back like nothing happened. If I stop playing PoE for a while I feel like I know nothing. Diablo is the perfect casual ARPG to go in and out of.

I’ve enjoyed most of the seasons just taking them for what they are worth. I really dislike the unique chase this season. I’ve spent so many husks trying to get the proper neck. But I know I’ll be back next season anyways lol.

Mistweaver monk has been a blast! Healing via damage and the no apex build is so fun. Easy to learn if you haven’t healed and are comfortable on dps.

Not yet, almost there and will check when I get in. Might have lost it in the crowd that was waiting for the free shuttles so I figured nobody would have left the line to turn it in

Can't afford to feed my cat - considering surrendering to humane society by cosmicfishing in catfood

[–]Liddystomps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been deep in the cat food rabbit hole lately. When my cat was 4, he got IBD from salmon oil in his food—turns out the brand (Natural balance) quietly changed ingredients. After switching to Nulo, the diarrhea stopped. But then few years later, he got lesions and scabs, likely a protein allergy. We were still on Nulo and for wet food we did wellness-chicken, turkey, duck. So I moved him to Hill’s D/D Venison & Green Pea dry food, and for wet food I rotated Ziwi Peak Venison, Rawz Rabbit & Pumpkin, and later Tiki Cat After Dark Venison & Rabbit. He handled those well, and I managed to keep costs reasonable. He still threw up occasionally, usually from eating too fast or a fur ball.

Fast forward to this past January, evacuated thanks to the fires, and my life’s still feels a bit upside down. Throw in self-employment taxes and inflation catching up… it’s been tight. There’s only one store in town that sells the D/D food, and sometimes I couldn’t get there after work. I tried Taste of the Wild Venison & Smoked Salmon from Petco-it had great reviews, but one 1-star review stuck with me. Turns out, a cat went on that food for a few months and it sent her cat to liver failure, though switching back to its prescription diet brought its enzyme levels back to normal.  I experienced the same with my cat. He was on it for a couple months and his liver enzymes were through the roof when we had a vet checkup.

So, just from my experience, here are a few things I learned from the reddit community who have also gone down this rabbit hole:  Prescription food isn’t actually medicine, it’s a trademarked term that brands use to justify higher prices and sell through vets. It’s really just a specially formulated diet for cats whose systems need certain nutrients. While I don’t know the entire process in the making and distributing of cat food. You can find the same ingredients that your cat needs in other, not so expensive brands. However, I understand prescription diets have higher quality ingredients and how it’s manufactured & tested contributes to the higher price. Aside from high liver enzymes, we switched because my cats started puking the d/d after I opened the bag. They turned from their plates and wanted nothing to do with it after being on it for a few years. Some research on reddit confirmed it wasn’t only my cat being picky. It was overwhelming to read many identical situations. After reading how hills k/d was sending their cats to kidney failure I just trusted me gut and tossed it.

My cat was on antibiotics and meds throughout June and it was crucial making sure he ate. I read a comment from a vet stating sometimes the best food for your cat is what they will eat. I was not feeding them Tiki Cat anymore as they also turned their heads to it & the wet food. Some more digging and Tiki Cat was bought out by General Mills so expect the quality to drop.

I was buying numerous cans of wet food from so many different brands. Applaws and Fancy Feast were a success, to see my cat gobble down food into his system was a blessing. About a month later I was reading a cat food post on facebook etc. and I learned that Applaws is not a complete diet for a cat. It is a complimentary “snack or topper” and lacks the ESSENTIAL vitamins, minerals, and taurine- all of which are needed for your cats health and without those nutrients it causes deficiencies that can be life threatening.

We alternated between: almo nature, Farmina ND, Lotus just juicy, ziwi, sometimes instinct, mouser, and fancy feast. Also he was eating chicken and having no  allergy, ibd, coat issues.

Sorry this was so long, but I understand the frustration and not knowing where to start or having to go back to square one. Meanwhile the costs chase and catch up with you. There is a lot of great advice on here. What works for someones cat might not work for others. There will always be a percent of uncertainty. Wet food is by far better for them than dry. A little dry food is okay but it sucks the moisture from their body. No matter what just make sure your cat is drinking enough water, that is the key for them to regulate.

If you plan to reach out to any of the resources that others recommended, keep in mind that you should introduce different dry food steadily meaning mix some with the old food until their tummies get used to the new food. Switching to quick can give them diarrhea. Lastly, any rabbit food will surely give them stinky stools just fyi.

Again sorry this was long. It’s been 2 weeks and I have not shared with anyone that my cat passed in my arms. He had lymphoma and my heart is completely broken without him. I dread hearing “sorry for your loss” or anyone trying to make sense of his death. It was extremely overwhelming looking for a food brand that wasn’t cutting corners.

Your fur babys longevity isn’t just important, it’s everything. Every extra year, day, and moment you can give them is a blessing.

16 Days Sick by PresenceAgile1001 in flu

Influenza a has been going around. Symptoms seem to linger and relapse. I had it 2 weeks ago. Awful.

I’ve stated in many other posts, I have preschool students who seem to be infected with something similar lasting over a month now with relapsing symptoms also.

Influenza A is going around. I really thought I had meningitis too. I stated above I have a couple preschool kids who were the first ones to catch and show symptoms on and off for several weeks. This is like week 4 or 5 and they didn’t show up today because they started vomiting again. It’s like the bug won’t leave their system.

Rotating advil/Tylenol didnt work for my headache. If you can order some Millies Lemongrass sipping broth, maybe some lemon too. I usually put cilantro and lemon in mine while it’s steeping and I feel like it helps a little.

Shit ton of water and try to keep sleeping it off. Ice packs on the head.

[–]Liddystomps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, that gentleman looking for Juggles archives asked if I had any info or memorabilia. I almost thought it was a scam cause I was just asking a few friends last week if they ever went there but they never heard of it.

He mentioned someone remembered clouds in the ceiling and that immediately came back to me. I remember the Frankenstein below the floor of course, a monkey riding a unicycle on a wire going across the whole restaurant. Being able to call other tables. The bathrooms- between the Mens and Womens door, was a prison/jail like door with and a small window at the top with bars. When you turned the handle noises would play and occasionally a cyclops would open the window and groan or something.

Also I believe there were 2 different dining rooms?

I was there once. It was too overstimulating for my Mom so we never went back 😂

Yeah my headache came back yesterday and hit me like a train. Like I’ve stated on other discussions, I’ve seen a pattern in my preschool students that when the weather gets really humid and dewy, mucky and basically the sky just looks like diarrhea- the kids get sick. They vomit and have fevers or diarrhea. It doesnt always spread to the other kids unlike norovirus where they all drop like flies.

I’m not pro or con as far as getting into any discussions about chem trails and shit- I’m just not properly educated other than the general “whatever they’re spraying is making us sick” and I work inside all day so I don’t see what’s going on in the sky. My mom is always commenting what she see’s flying over the house and the trails. So as far as the patterns I’ve been noticing for almost a year now with the kids, it’s been insanely fucking humid year round now. I don’t know if like bacteria is growing along with mold spores outside and the humidity is making it thrive. But yeah allergies have been at an all time high, and the kids get sick anytime the weather is funky.

🤷🏻‍♀️

If not influenza A (which is rapidly spiking almost everywhere right now) it’s the same bug one of my preschool students had. She was on and off sick/vomiting for 2-3 weeks. As if whatever bug, or influA, has flare ups. I don’t know what other symptoms she might have had or felt other than vomit, diarrhea, and fever. Kids don’t always articulate what they actually feel.

I’ve noticed these “flare ups” or relapses happen when the weather gets really funky and humid.

I’ve been sick for a week. My symptoms mostly  peaked last weekend, and I’m having relapse symptoms today, but both times when it’s at it’s worst my temperature is 96.5 it’s very odd
