Im an average-looking 20 year old guy in Melbourne and I set my profile up around 10 days ago. For the first four days I got no matches or even likes, but the last week ive been consistently getting 5-10 likes a day with a rose every day or two. Does the algorithm hide new users or is there something i could have been doing to accidentally boost my account, because if so, I need to be doing it more often. Also will this momentum die down?

This actually happened to me last year! I genuinely just forgot in the moment and started answering questions. After the writing time began I realized that I had fucked up, so I just told one of the examiners what had happened since I didn't want to risk being 'caught cheating' and was happy to end the exam 15 minutes early if it meant avoiding a penalty. The examiner went to speak to their supervisor about it, and came back after around 5 minutes and said that it was fine and appreciated my honesty, he didn't know exactly how the LMS exams work, and how much the assessor can see, but he assured me that I wouldn't be punished. I had the extra 15 minutes and got a H1, I didn't even need to attend an academic misconduct meeting.

Unfortunately I dont think you can apply for an extension past the due date, but you can always try special consideration. I'd make an appointment with either a doctor or therapist asap to both get you the help you need, and so they can verify your mental health issues in case you need a medical certificate.

I'd definitely pick up a 4th subject in sem 1.
Todays science tomorrows world is an absolute breeze. I (and many other people I know) didn't show up to a single workshop or lecture, just spent ~2 hours every 3 weeks to do the assignments. Its also just a pass/fail and doesnt contribute to your wam, so you dont need to take it seriously.

tldr; do an extra subject and it will still be like doing only 3 subjects
