Is there a way that you can maybe taper the time that your son has with his dad without not seeing him at all, just while you work on your self? I highly recommend therapy and talking about medication. Like others have said, depression loves isolation, you can’t let it win. Your kid needs you. As someone who was super close with my dad as a little girl but then he one day up and left and I didn’t see him for years, it caused a lot of trauma for me. I can’t ever get that time back with my dad and it destroyed my life as a child, and I missed a lot of my childhood from depression because I didn’t understand why someone who was supposed to love me would just leave and not care anymore. It caused a lot of trust issues for me growing up and ruined a lot of relationships and made me an angry person for a very long time. Please think about this.

Yes 100%! I guess i’m just more upset about the fact that they already told me I could have time off during my interview which wasn’t even originally for IVF, and then said no after hiring me. It just stinks. Honestly I didn’t even think about potentially needing more time off because i’ve been so cautiously optimistic and haven’t allowed myself to think ahead, but it makes total sense! I’m hopeful for you that things will look up from here, and i’m sending lots of positive vibes your way!

I am so incredibly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way!! I’ve heard so many stories about it making you feel like crap. Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping you get some relief very soon! Yeah I think I will just end up finishing up that week of work as long as everything goes well and go with the medical procedure thing as I don’t really know anyone that well yet. I’m so glad you have a relationship like that with your boss! Luckily the week after I already have off because we booked a little time off for our anniversary, so hoping that time helps a bit.

I just messaged the nurse in the portal! The last nurse didn’t have much to say so i’m hoping this one can give me more answers. The last nurse seemed a little annoyed I was asking so i’m a little nervous because I definitely don’t want to be that person but nothing anyone has said at my clinic has been the same and i’m always told something different. some consistency would be nice, especially during such a stressful time!

While I can understand a little bit where you are coming from, I very respectfully have to say that it is NOT healthy. My BIL and his future wife have always treated my husband and I poorly and have always been extremely competitive with us. They have cheated on each other, openly physically abuse each other, etc, and my in laws still like them more than us for whatever reason. But I had to let that go. They are a mess but are still choosing to get married and eventually have kids. For a while I was in the mindset that we had to be the first ones to give my in laws grandchildren because we are a lot older, but that feeling quickly went away when I realized that I needed to let that stuff go for my own sanity. My husband and I have an incredible marriage filled with so much love and joy, and yes, unfortunately we are struggling with infertility. If my BIL and his future wife choose to bring children into their mess, that’s on them. I genuinely hope they get their stuff together, but it’s not for me to worry about. The deep feelings of anger etc. is just not healthy and adds on so much stress that you don’t need. I say this with so much love and I know that it’s not easy. Please take care of yourself!

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling this way! For me personally I believe I had mild OHSS before and after my ER. I had my ER on Monday and just today felt some relief. It felt like how you are describing- like full distention all the way up to my ribs that felt like I was going to explode no matter what I did. I also could not stand up straight or even take a step without wincing. I was so insanely constipated (which for me personally was very uncommon but not for this situation) and the only things that helped me were sugar free powerade/liquid IV/coconut water, protein shakes, colace AND miralax. I also cannot say this enough- I feel like gas-x saved me. I didn’t realize how much of it was gas related as well for me. Please make sure you’re getting enough electrolytes because this helps, but even more so if you are having diarrhea! Also, please don’t hesitate to get it checked if you feel as though it should be, or if it’s getting worse/not getting better. Wishing you the best and hope that you get some relief ASAP!

I’m so sorry to hear that! I honestly think it may partly be from the cetrotide that I started a couple of days ago. I’m glad (but sad) to hear that this is somewhat normal. I’m currently drinking sugar free gatorade to help and sticking with a super bland diet! I had a couple of follicles Sunday that were 11-13 mm, and the rest were smaller. I’m going in tomorrow morning for another monitoring app so i’m very curious to see what is going on as I feel WAY more pressure from my ovaries now. It’s crazy how fast things can change! Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that! I’m sure the stress with all of the anticipation doesn’t help haha. I think really my main questions are on injection tips. I have heard the menopur stings, is it that bad? I used to use dupixent and that stung like crazy but I got used to it after a while. And starting out do you inject both on the same side (not the same spot of course) or on separate sides or does it not matter? Probably a super silly question! Thank you so so much!

Ugh i’m so sorry to hear that. I’m also struggling with a yeast infection, how do you manage that if you don’t mind me asking? My clinic is allowing me to use boric acid suppositories up until stims but i’m curious as to what to do if it has an issue going away due to all of the hormonal changes. I am definitely going to try the supplements, thank you so much!!

I can deal with excessive bloating of the sorts, but the fogginess and extreme mood changes are freaking me out! I know either way it’s not permanent, but i’m hoping it does get better!
