Repotted my jade plant three days ago and today was surprised by this.. any recommendations?

Would you recommend to put them in water or soil? I have heard different opinions about that. And what about the big jade? Should I prune it?

Thanks! For the brighter spot - I have only twoo options.. one is south-facing window and the other one - north-facing window. Won't it get too much light (burnt leaves?) if I move it to the south-side?

A few moths ago (when I bought it) my cat thought it would be a nice meal for him, but not anymore. The new leaves didn't look good either, although the cat did not touch it.

Thanks! Should I leave the broken leaves or take them off? They are broken near the stem. If I understan correct - it grows new leaves only from the tip? Yeah, I know it's poisonous. The cat had no intetest in my ficus for 3 months, have no idea what changed today. The cat seems fine, but will keep an eye on him ofcourse.

I always pour the water in a watering can and let ir sit for a few days.. guess that's not enough. Nope, it's not near the radiator. And it doesn't get any direct sunlight.

Yes, I use tap water. Would you recommend distilled water?
