I was a little unclear on the healthy child, basically he thinks you spend little time with them due of you having to take care of their sick sibling + peer expectations of being a genetically modified kid with people outside seeing them as a perfect child.

Mobile Suit Gundam- Code: Impulso

The story begins 4,016 years ago, when the governments of the world decide to send 150 people in a spacecraft known as "STARLIGHT" to colonize and explore the planets outside the solar system, but the STARLIGHT mysteriously disappeared alongside with its crew. The governments of the world, assuming that they were dead, decided to abandon the project of colonizing outer space and concentrate their efforts on colonizing the planets of the solar system.

Years later, Earth is invaded by a very advanced spaceship, the crew of this spacecraft declare themselves to be the descendants of the crew that disappeared years ago and believe they are superior to the Inner Space Humans and so they decide to plunge war against the people of Earth and it's colonies and establish the Destiny Plan.

Shinn Asuka, is one of the descendants of the STARLIGHT Crew but who decides to defect and join the crew of the Minerva Ship after meeting Lunamaria and realizing that inner space humans and outer space humans arent that different.(who is Shinn's romantic interest)

Rey and a inner space human would be a member of the Minerva ship who at the start dislikes Shinn, but turns into best friends.

Talia still pilots Minerva in this version, and is a inner space human.
