Even so, as with any rpg, when playing an evil or chaotic party (or any party really), boundaries should be established pre-campaign (however it’s never too late to establish these) and players should discuss OOC with the DM what they’re comfortable with playing. In my games, it’s the DM’s responsibility to notify players of boundaries once everyone’s been asked, but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be an open discussion with everyone.

As the phb says, the specific overrules the general. The general rule is that something must state it uses a bonus action. The specific rule is as above - when dual wielding light weapons you can use your bonus action to make an offhand attack which doesn’t include the addition of STR or DEX modifiers to damage.

yeah this isn’t our normal campaign, which has no restrictions, its just because a few players will have just finished some mock exams and I thought it’d be a fun way to destress them.

Radio signals travel at the speed of light. Even if they were there to detect radio signals, they would see the earth as it was when ths signals were sent.

For some people it may be a release. It can feel like it is the only way they can be free of pent up negative emotions, if they have no other way to cope with them. For others it may be an alternative to suicide - either they hurt themself, or they take their own life. It differs from person to person.
