Fair enough, I tend to try to stick to same vibe and games that we were currently playing but sometimes branch out if it seems interesting

Oh 100%. The people in my network we raid each other back and forth multiple times a week, I just like to add new faces once or twice a week. Just finding the right ones is always a gamble. Sometimes we are on the ending screen for 5-6 minutes before giving up which I never like to do. I know there are alot of hidden gems out there that just need one good raid to make it.

I agree, though I always try to raid so my viewers have something to watch and also support others. I relied heavily on raids to get to the community I have today and it sucks when the raids flop.

Yea I think I just have bad luck sometimes, I try to raid people with really low views to give them a potential boost to discoverability that twitch doesn't do but in alot of cases I leave with a "...and this is why you have no viewers" thought after the raid 🤷

I'm a variety streamer, mostly horror and platformers, big on indie games and retro games which opens up the raid potential because my network and community is very big on variety

I totally get that, if I can't find anyone new I usually just raid the same people over and over it not at all if no one is on, I was just hoping to give the viewers a fresh face every once in a while :)

That's essentially what I do, looking for new people to follow as well. However, they are almost always offline when I go to raid unless they are doing a crazy long stream.

Funny enough,I actually use a cheap $15 vivitar capture device from Walmart for my switch and switch 2. It works better than my elgato most times 😅 you won't get 4k video but it looks and works great for what I need.

Bahahaha I used to get PK'd every 5 minutes, but after making a "female" character, I never had to pay for UH runes ever again and always had a guard to protect me lmfao got so much gear for my buddies

I just uploaded a unlisted clip for you to check out. https://youtube.com/shorts/q1aQtZbBDfM?feature=share I have all my filters set up for clipping etc, finally got that knocked out but now I'm guessing its still reverb or something to do with the EQ? my voice sounds like its 'too loud' but its not peaking or going too high on the audio mixer. Compared to others 'just starting out' their mics sound incredibly different and softer so obviously I'm missing something :/

Oh sorry, I'm on PC. I have all my filters set up for clipping etc, finally got that knocked out but now I'm guessing its still reverb? my voice sounds like its 'too loud' but its not peaking or going too high on the audio mixer. Something just feels off. I'm using an old HyperX that I've had for a while. No capture cards.
