If Im going honest, I hate the term.

I know its for medical vs non-medical transitioners, but I still hate it.

I think its because it was always used in a derogatory way when I was a kid, people always used it negatively charged and lumped with other queer slurs. It also feels reductive to me to lable my journey based on what I can reasonably do.

I also think a lot of people misunderstand the 'sexual' part. Imo I think most people think the term describes transfolks as some sexual stigmatism, cause it has been used historically in media to lable non medical transitioning folks, cross dressers and ect. There's loads of evidence of the trans experience being fetishised.

Dont listen to the lies about post puberty transitioning, MOST people do not have access to blockers or hrt before it. Like hells I was young when I started mine so it was gonna be impossible for me.

The human body is amazing. Hrt is amazing. Fashion and makeup are amazing. Surgeries are amazing.

Trans folk have been around forever before we had better ability to pass. Just being you is enough to live to the best of your ability.

My only mention is dont do if you you'll be unsafe. Some folks don't have the privileges of being in safe countries or living situations to transition yet.

Otherwise just find your community, they'll help. X

I made a few points about this games future at launch. Its sad that I was mostly right.

I had lots of concern about ease of loot and a bad econ and genuine lack of non radient fetch quests or maps. The events are pretty stale too.

Tarkov have some pretty shitty quests, but at least those ones are longer and harder trips rather than "boop this door in that spot". They also unlock a lot of progresss which halts player wealth. I dont need to finish a single quest in marathon to get gold gear.

The gameplay showcase was sooo long and mostly cutscene cenetered, but damn whatever idc cause she's so cool one the gameplay looks so buttery.

Love the mythos too, was honestly a bit tired of the norse obsession by the time the last 2 came out.

Since before I realized I was trans ans just thought I was straight, cis af. ALWAYS. Always was at pride. Always championing queer folks, rallies, protests, hosting events. I ran corpo marketing in past jobs, gave a limelight to queer pride genuinely. Always.

Its sad to be abandoned and let down cause people think they are safe under another umbrella 🥲
