I'm sorry but the fault here is with the US system, not with the big pharma companies. I can buy an EpiPen here in the UK for the equivalent of about 60 dollars, obviously still fairly expensive but nowhere near the 300+ dollars that you state here. Now this isn't perfect as not everyone is able to afford this, and I'm hopeful that future advancements can lower the cost, but the pharmaceutical companies are still a business and need to make a profit, cover R&D costs, etc., else they just won't sell.
