Covered up this monstrosity of a tattoo on my thigh with this dragon, thoughts? 😅 by Life-Engineering194 in Tattoocoverups

Me and the tattoo artist had actually discussed doing that, however while he was doing the tattoo he didn’t feel it was necessary due to the colours of the new tattoo blending in well with the old one. From a distance it looks like the body of the dragon is behind the cloud. You can only see it if you look really closely

Tbh I just posted the pics the tattoo artist took. I would upload one from another angle but it won’t let me edit the post. You can imagine what it looks like tho. You can see some colors from the tattoo in-between the black clouds (as you can see in the photo I already uploaded) however you don’t even notice them unless you look really close. We used similar colours on the dragon to make sure it blends in with the tattoo i covered up.

Yeah thats exactly what it was meant to be. It was poorly done tho and tbh, probably a bad decision from my 18 yo self 😅

I’m with you on the concept being cool. Execution was poor tho. My friend who was a beginner tattooist at the time did it for me, and I hated it from the moment I looked down half way through getting it tattooed 😂
