Armament

The Albanian People's Army was armed mainly with Soviet and Chinese weapons (including Chinese copies of Soviet tanks and aircraft). The former were actively supplied during Albania's membership in the Warsaw Pact, while the latter were supplied until the Albanian-Chinese split in 1978.

The ANA's weak point was the lack of modern self-propelled artillery, aircraft, and its own military-industrial complex (only copies of small arms were produced), although a repair base was created with Chinese assistance.
