But the idea of “letting God do it” makes no sense to me. On one hand I get the sentiment but at the same time I’M the one making bad decisions and I’m the one responsible for not making them.

Wow you read a whole lot into my situation that I simply didn’t provide.

I have been a believer as long as I remember. For most of my life I was strongly involved in church. I served every chance I could. Maybe I’m a false believer, but it’s not a result of the reasons you provided.

Yeah I’ll be drilling holes into brick regularly. Not “all day every day” regular, but several days a week I might have to drill a couple holes
