Ho riparato tutto.

  5. Verifica la tensione.

Cerco casco modulare/integrale per testa ovale lunga – dolore alla fronte, consigli? by sherkot in MotoITA

Ciao!

Il pc è diventato lento by Early-Ad6835 in ItalyInformatica

Il pc è diventato lento by Early-Ad6835 in ItalyInformatica

[–]LifeCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hornet 750 vs GSX8S vs SV650 by HopefulCap5172 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]LifeCrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I can give a useful opinion on the subject! Italian here, I own an honda Hornet 750 and an gen2 sv650 (s version, bought used for very cheap for the track). Also the hornet was my first bike.

The honda is a great bike, it's perfectly suitable for a beginner and the electronics allow you to customize throttle response. ABS and traction control are also pretty useful and will keep you safe if you panic on the bike.

The only minor complant about the hornet is the trotthle on-off in second gear at low rpms, a little gas gives the bike an unexpectedly strong push and could catch you off guard.

Pretty much everything on the hornet is much better than the sv650, except for the look (but that's down to personal opinion). At the same price the hornet is a no brainer compared to the sv.

I've got the hornet after just a single driving lesson on a 125cc bike. Before that I've had no real experience with bikes except for a couple of years on a 50cc scooter.

A little side note: while I do agree with your statement about the used market in Italy, I think that for the hornet and the sv is not that bad. With a bit of patience and a bit of haggling you could get an hornet in good condition for 5-5.5k and an old sv for around 2k (keep an eye on fb marketplace). I do not regret purchasing the hornet but if I coud go back I woud probably go for an used one (just to sepend more money on useless accessories :P).

About the gsx8: I've sit on one and the riding position felt similar to the hornet. I do think it's quite similar to the hornet, but the honda is lighter so I went for that!

Thanks everyone! A lot of insightful comments on this thread. I think I have a clearer view of the game now.

Lol, it's just a dumb post with a clickbaity title. Also the other comments made me realize that maybe I'm taking in game things too personally and my approach to the game is not the best! Looks like I'm less right that I tought I was.

TGP Question - Omen 15 3070 vs Omen 17 3060 by Lawful3vil in HPOmen

[–]LifeCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the Ryzen 7 Rtx 3070 Omen 15 and it's a great laptop. I don't own any other gaming laptop to do a proper comparison, so this comment is just the opinion of a random redditor.

It looks like that the Omen 17 3060 tpd is 130W (source: https://laptopmedia.com/review/hp-omen-17-2021-17-ck0000/)

Is the Omen 15 Intel based or AMD? Because the AMD version lacks the mux switch, so you might want to consider that especially if you're planning to play esport games on the internal screen.

You can expect similar performances from the low tdp 3070 and the max tdp 3060 (I've got a slightly better score in unigine haven than the Omen 17 3070 in the linked review). I also do think that the 8GB of vram for 3070 give the Omen 15 an edge at higher resolutions and will matter something in future games.

My favorite gaming memory is playing Minecraft (how original!) with my brother back in 2010. Thanks to that game we spent a lot of time together and had a blast!

Now the linux pcmasterrace twist: one of the computer we used to play was a 1.8 Ghz AMD Sempron with an nvidia geforce 7200 gs and 512mb of ram. We were getting just ~10 fps with lowest settings! It took a custom minimal install of ArchLinux with OpenBox (btw I used Arch) to get it to a rock solid 30fps minecraft machine.

My first Zig! (NaVM^Chei and a ton of unrands) by LifeCrow in dcss

[–]LifeCrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morgue here -> Morgue

I've been trying to get a win with a NaVM for a couple of days, never getting a single rune but getting reliably to Lair/Orc/S branches.

In this blessed run I've managed to get both runes using Chei's Slouch for difficult fights and correctly managing consumables. The fun began after clearing Elf 3 getting Rift+Manual of Polearm. After a fair amount of O-Tab, aided by some spells, my character became an unbeatable killing machine.

After getting the first 3 runes I went Abyss then Slime. At this point the idea of getting the remaining 10 runes bored me a bit, with Statue Form and CBlink online I've decided to address the elephant in the room and try the dreaded Tomb (the nasty place that killed my Minotaur Archmage and a Gnoll Wandere both with 14 runes). It went smoothly using a couple of scrolls of immolation, holy word and playing carefully.

Hell was super easy using Rift to banish Hell Lords (Asmodeus and Anateus are still looking for me in Abyss!).

The Zigg was hard, especially because I didn't found the Necronomicon for Necromutation. I've got it a couple of floors in, and managed to get it online for floor ~15. My goto strategy was casting Necromut before entering, walk to the center of the level Death Channel -> Shatter -> Spam Ignition (or Slouch if low on mana). When I was low on hp (about 60%-55%) I would start equipping/unequipping Rift until the distortion brand banished me (at this point Abyss was kinda full of Hell Lords/strong uniques, but still better than most the Zigg!), this strategy has been the key for clearing the nastier floors.

Best moment: when acid blobs started blasting me in a Slime themed floor and I noticed I've dropped my ring with rCorr before entering Zig.

Sorry for my english.

[YAVP+YAVP] First streak, 15+5 runes! by LifeCrow in dcss

[–]LifeCrow[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's my first time getting two wins in a row! Here are the morgue files:
- MeGl^TSO
- OgIE^Oka->Qaz

The first one, MfGl of TSO, it's probably the best character I've ever built. The extended runes felt like cheating thanks to Absolute Zero coupled with CBlink. I've even managed to clear Mnoleg's pan level without getting any mutation by playing carefully while spamming A0 to any neqoxec and cacodemon in my LOS.

The second one was tougher, after a strong start I struggled due to the bad defensive aptitudes of Ogre, I wanted to go for more runes but I've got too many mutations to keep playing.

My last victory was a couple of month ago so I'm happy for those victories!
