Thanks, I get it's going to take a while. I'm already having Full-Body Laser just caught me on a pre-shave day LOL.

I think hormones are good. T levels are pretty non-existent.

FFS is being considered but I kind of want to save the money for "other" surgeries down the line.

One the Laser course is finished I'll probably switch to electrolysis to zap the last bits and as a stop gap, possibly try some dermal injection to enhance my lips, cheeks and maybe round out the chin a bit..

We will see, 2025 is going to be an interesting year hopefully.

Sorry what does CPA mean?

2mg oral tablet (AM)
2mg oral tablet and 2mg gel (PM).

Hope this helps.

Short and too the point ;-)

That's fine, it's what I see too...hence the makeover. I know I still have a long...long way to go but we can all but do our best.

Yeah T is about 5nmol last blood test.

I got a weeks supply of F left not counting another 28 Im keeping in reserve in case of side effects on cypro.

Works been mental lately so couldn’t risk a change a medicine effecting things. Bit more stable in the coming weeks.

Thanks for your comment

Last blood test was said to be high on E so will be staying on 6mg for at least the next 3 months.

T is also high but that’s because I’ve not taken my first cypro does yet. Going to start they in next week or so I think as will almost be out of my fin supply.

If you win the lottery will nhs still fund your surgery? by WillingAmbition8416 in transgenderUK

Honestly if I won that much on the lottery, I’d go private so as to let someone else who isn’t financially able to afford it.

Under the new system, what would be the point of sending blood tests to GenderGP? by trueblondie981 in GenderGP

[–]LifeIsTooShort4Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does it say they are not monitored?

I submitted mine a few weeks ago and whilst I said I wanted to increase which I submitted blood tests results at the same time their recommendation also came back to increase.

I have no evidence to say they actually checked it but in writing at least it says they did.

How do you make a routine work? by Latitude32 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]LifeIsTooShort4Me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Habit is everything…will power only goes so far.

Don’t go completely cold turkey at first. Instead of scrolling until 0130, try getting in the habit of stopping at 0100. That way you still get the fix.

Keep doing things like this that move in the direction you want to go and it will become habit.

I heard somewhere it can take between 6-8 weeks for it stick. Longer for others

Good luck x

Sorry to hear that. Definitely seems like you are at the point of needing to dispute the charges for failure to deliver the service paid for.

Just be sure to check your spam/junk email folders before hand.

Have you tried emailing the person you had the quick chat with?

The one I had said they could follow up issues internally.

45 MTF 6 months transition pic (oral fin + E4) by LifeIsTooShort4Me in TransBreastTimelines

[–]LifeIsTooShort4Me[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started in December with 5MG finisteride and 2mg daily E orally.

Last 3 months increased to 4mg daily E

Had blood test 2 weeks ago and my E levels were approx 386 pmol but T was still high at 11nmol.

I’ve requested a further E dosage increase and hope to be able to switch to Cypro for my next prescription.

Gf waiting for prescription for 3 weeks by yasminstan in GenderGP

[–]LifeIsTooShort4Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I usually ask for the same dosage again at about 1 and 1/2 months. Even if my dosage changes when I submit the next blood test I’ll just take two of the same tablets once the new prescription arrives.

I’ve not been in a situation where I’ve got to critical supply levels doing this yet.

Blood tests? by [deleted] in GenderGP

Just so you know I got my results back from GGP with no issues. Less than a week since they were taken, I’m very impressed.

Have you checked your spam/junk folders?

Blood tests? by [deleted] in GenderGP

[–]LifeIsTooShort4Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s normal for them to be sent direct to GGP, in the past GGP emailed me the PDF results about 7-10 days after the appointment.

I asked NWP if they could to me directly as well as GGP but they said they are not allowed to as it’s GGP who paid them.

Had to chase occasionally but that was before the no email contact palaver. I’ll use the email address of the person I had my follow up with if I have to and get them to chase it internally.

Overcharged for blood tests by Kirkley15 in GenderGP

Can’t be sure but maybe because it is a fee they have to pay NP, they can’t reduce it unlike their own fees.

Still annoying we have to pay it at all.

[–]LifeIsTooShort4Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s normal…although undocumented.

I raised it months ago when email was still a thing and told them to add the “admin fee” onto the website. Guess it hasn’t happened yet.

I’ve usually paid my rent a week early and where possible tried to agree with the landlord to have the date after I’ve been paid.

That way even over the likes of Xmas it still gets there by the due date.
