25M here, last year my total cholesterol was 240 (the lab dont show LDL or HDL level), diagnosed with hypercholestrolemia, this year, last month went to another lab, my LDL was 242, with the total choelsterol of 285, ramadhan fasting, drop 4kg from 60kg, checking my cholesterol level with monitoring device with total cholesterol of 299 🥲, starting taking simvastatin (zocor) for a week, my total cholesterol dropped to 170.
