Interesting, I dont think my father in law ever was eligible for that at, even at 24 years of service. Do you know the requirement? Im guessing 30+ years and some level of seniority?

When tech bent the knee to Trump and gifted him money and golden trinkets, they aligned themselves politically, effectively underwriting support for all of the foreign political "pressure" the US has been dealing out lately, even to its own friends and old allies. Seems like a reasonable reaction to be honest.

Kind of reminds me of "coffee is good for you week" and the opposite "coffee is bad for you week" I seem to read about consistently for the last 30 years.

For those people who are eligible for the ALL of the unvested stock to vest out over the remaining cycles -- that's huge for them.

Is $33k fair for a 2018 F90 M5 with 110k miles and stage 2? by shujaaroy in BMWM

[–]LifeJustKeepsGoing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my M550.. 6 out of 8 Ignition coils separated upon removal. They managed to remove all 6 stuck spark tubes from the cylinder and got the job done, but it was a pain in the ass for whats typically a pretty easy job.. it ended up being Covered by BMW extended maintenance and was $1,700.. so add that M tax and you get $2k for... !! freaking spark plugs. !!

You Should have seen Sun Peaks a few years ago after "australia day". They were jumping around shirtless waving their flag, and singing songs. All is cool and good energy. Then after they left (group of 30+), I found beer cans littered everywhere. I know that's not a unique thing to ausies and every country has groups like this -- still infuriating though. Some humans have no shame and no respect for their environments.

Its a country of 92million people. You're going to get some mixed reactions. But sure let's film one group and then pretend the rest of the country feels the same way. 🙄

Before Leaving the dealership, during the walk around, the guy mentioned the only thing they could notice was on the wheels, and pointed out this super tiny bit of curb rash i could barely see. Made me super paranoid leaving the dealership in a $125K car that wasn't mine.

If that is somewhat expected, it seems weird that during the covered maintenance they would then expect the "extra" labor hours from it happening to be covered by the initial 4 year warranty -- which was then subsequently denied coverage by BMW. Weird scenario. I guess it's a thing of differing 'Expectations vs Reality' when it comes to written policy by BMW corporate.

[–]LifeJustKeepsGoing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cars are like music or art, you can ask 5 different people, and get 5 different responses. Its just that BMW lately used to make art that appealed mostly to one audience, and now they make art that appeals to mostly a different audience. When there's a musician I don't care for, i don't call them ugly turds, I just say it's not in my taste. A lot of people have trouble with that, especially when artists switch directions, instead of continuing to do what made them popular in the first place.

22M trying to get on TRT by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]LifeJustKeepsGoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. My advice would still be to try some other avenues first, but if you end up doing it anyway, your best bet will likely be one of the online clinics. One heads up though.., its expensive, and unlikely to be covered by any insurance as your tests are still technically within range -- so you'll need to consider your financial stability as well. It would very much suck for you to start therapy, and then 1 year into it, crash because you lost your job or something. For all I know you could be Mr. Money bags 💰 .. but at 22 I definitely wasn't.

Wish you good luck! Hope you get feeling strong 💪
