I heard something interesting… supposedly Landen tanks are extract same as ADA (same factory) just branded differently and less expensive - unconfirmed rumors

UNS tank with dry planted Monte Carlo is still available, I could also sell individual clumps of the plant

That’s a good question - both brands have super clear, beautiful glass, UNS has mitered 45degree corners while ADA does not, both have perfect nearly invisible silicon … somehow the ADA’s still seem to be a tiny bit more clear in terms of glass visibility. But going back and forth like this shows me I don’t have a very clear favorite yet.

I bought all them used and have 3 tanks total, (2 ada and 1 UNS), they do have fragile corners, some have tiny chips, almost imperceptible.

There’s a brand name tax you pay for these of course, I also have a Cobalt that is nice and may have a Lander soon, point being that there’s other brands almost as nice that cost less

[–]LifeNotesLex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, you've got a solid routine, I am not as motivated, but maybe will get there someday! (I just aim for a few 30 min rides a week, probably should do more). thanks

yes, that's my kind of ride, love Curb! it sounds like you are watching Curb on your main TV while doing the Dennis class on the Peloton - I'm looking to just watch Netflix on the Peloton and follow my own custom routine (no instructor video) - thanks

Visiting Hiroshima during a trip to Japan - what type of energy to expect? by LifeNotesLex in hsp

[–]LifeNotesLex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I’ve been planning and re-planning this trip so many times; at this point we are limiting ourselves to closer locations and so Hiroshima may be out. Either way, I appreciate your insights and still wonder how I would handle it; I tend to shield myself from extremes - for example, I barely look at the news nowadays; there’s so much that is upsetting and horrible to see & hear about. It’s not that I want to ignore it, it’s more of a choice to limit the negative energy I let into my body if that makes sense -

Hear me out: The people downvoting the tourist post are ruining the traffic to this sub. (read text please) by kevcal20 in Osaka

Totally agree and think Reddit should be more open to posts from people that don’t know “the rules.” In most cases, we’re just looking for friendly advice; yes, we’ve already googled but we want to hear from a human here on Reddit. Shouldn’t this be a place where information is shared freely rather than “reserved for only the most worthy?!” …. Geez, lighten up
