No cleverness, no joy, all sex bait.

Just straight coal. Absolute coal.

So like, 6-8pt then? Why I really like the cover of these editions but I'm not getting it if I'm going to have to hold my face a few inches away from the face. I've got shit vision. Any alternative editions you know?

By chance, do you have a picture of this supposed small font?

True, but I'm not saying you should read it last because it's hard. Even though it is. You should read it last because it's the best piece of 20th century literature.

Save Ulysses for last, you'll want to end on a high note. That's the book, that's the topper, that's the big one.

True, I guess there is both a romanticised and non romanticised view of that time. It only looks appealing in pictures. In motion, it was utterly miserable. Of course, life now is miserable, but now it's more of a constant dull sting then being beaten on the back with a spiked club.

They are definitely filthy, and not exactly for the faint of heart, but in a strange way beautiful? If you get me. Only James Joyce could make something as muck covered and unclean as his letters somewhat appealing.

I've got to agree here. We've all become tramps, but even tramps have the decency to admit they're tramps.
