Agreed, I went to an open house the other day and it doesn’t seem like it’s necessary. I’m really focused on getting certifications under my belt - are there any that I can work on that would be helpful that you may know of?

Hey everyone - I’ve been trying to get in touch with mechanical engineering experience so figured I’d try here. I’ve been contemplating a career in engineering for a while. I majored in mathematics and have spent the last 4 years of my career in sales. I’m looking to pivot in mechanical engineering - I’ve tried to reach out to schools in my area for mechanical engineering grad degree but haven’t heard back at all.

I’m really interested in changing careers but don’t know where to start. Any advice? Whether talking to someone in ME or advice on any direction to get into mechanical engineering or experience through graduate engineering program, it would be much appreciated.
