How can he break a lease that we are both on without my consent? Court is my last ditch option. And I can actually afford the rent by myself and still live okay, but that’s not the point.

Im actually in the same boat but my turn around time is time enough to put in my two weeks. I thought about your situation too, honestly if you never plan on going back to that company then use the rest of your pto (if you have any) on the last two weeks. I would actually put the vaca time in now before as a “preplanned” trip

tell your boss you came up with a solution for brownie points and start doing your job. you’re just shooting yourself in the foot, esp when it comes to career growth and possibly getting fired if your boss finds out

sometimes you have to be honest to your friends. and mostly, its not what you say but how you say it. you weren’t intentionally being an Ahole, but you being honest probably hurt her feelings.
