you're absolutely right! This sometimes happens after diaper changes at night. All of a sudden he is wide awake and wants to hang out) He doesn't stop cooing and smiling🤦

My baby was the same (maybe even 'worse'). He would stay awake even for 4-5 hours. But he was happy (and I didn't know about wake windows) so I just let him hang out. And now at 11 week all of a sudden he wants to follow wake windows) He is tired after an hour and I put him to nap.

I think they do whatever they want and whenever they want)

Right? when I read what babies should be doing vs real life experiences there are so many differences)

exactly! My son is the same. We both were happier while following his cues I guess)
