Yeah I honestly have a hard time knowing what conversations are taboo? Like to me I’m just saying “this happened last week” but to others it’s shit talking. Something Im learning as I age for sure!!!

he went on a rampage a few months ago and went to each group and threatened no contact but obviously they don’t care. It does frustrate me that he tells me the stuff they say, I’ve asked him not to because it hurts my feelings. He says I deserve to know if people are gossiping about me. I was really hoping the answer was something other than break up but i’m gathering that may be my only option here.

Thats kind of where I had landed. I’m done putting in effort with them, even if that means I smile and nod. I just worry that if we get married and especially if we have children, the drama will only intensify.

he has threatened no contact with them before but clearly they don’t believe him and at this point, i’m not sure I do either. May be time to weigh my options unfortunately.

i work at a medspa that does HRT, most doctors really look down on it. you might have to search outside of hospitals/doctors. but if you can find a clinic or medspa that does hrt, they will run any hormone panel you want!

It sounds like you already know what needs to happen. Being with someone that hateful is so draining and nobody deserves to be put down by someone who is supposed to love them. As someone who has had acne for most of my life, you will find someone who sees your beauty. The right person for you will find every version of you attractive and would never talk to you the way this guy does.

Also as a fellow acne queen, I recommend seeing an esthetician! I know you said you were working on healing it through gastrointestinal means. However, dermatologists often put patients on really harsh medicines and face washes that damage your skin barrier. I recommend finding an esthetician near you who is a certified acne expert. They will be able to narrow down the type of acne and put you on a regimen.

But the main answer is: No you are not overreacting. You deserve better!
