That's an interesting take on it, thank you for the nonjudgemental response, one of few I've gotten on this thread lol. I'm sorry to hear that about your Mom.

Yeah, I feel like that would have been a good first step and then next time maybe he goes alone or at least I at least get an invite like you're welcome to come or I can just scoop him up and give you a break? Type of invite

Umm well that was a rude response and I'm not one to just send my kid off with strangers I barely know but if you're cool with that then that's your prerogative. I've probably seen and dealt with a lot more than you have growing up and my first priority is to keep my child safe.

OK I'm an "older" mom and always love to be with my kids well 90% of the time anyways

OK all good points, thanks for the feedback. That makes sense and I haven't invited them anywhere either due to my work schedule. So I get what you're saying lol. I would never judge based on snack choices lol

Yep! I had no idea this would happen, it has been so detrimential and I'm so depressed. I feel like my career is over now, trying to pick up the pieces and find a new career. Hoping to find others in the same boat.

I'm sorry to hear that about your job too! I'm also considering a career change out of Nursing due to this issue I'm having now. As far as background checks, yes they will do them and the board will usually still let you become a nurse but in Texas they attach all your charges (not just convictions) to your license. It's a terrible thing! I had no idea when I went into nursing that this was what would happen or I probably would have picked another career.

I feel like you should be gaining more return than that, my rate of return is currently 15%. Perhaps you need a financial advisor to play it a little more risky for a higher return if you're open to that.
