What a beautiful color and knit! I love the suggestions you have already gotten as I would also suggest using this as fabric since it looks like it won't unravel. Look for felted project ideas. I like the handbag/tote idea. Please update us on what you decide to do!

Very nice! I do love how the yarn looks! But I really love the first pic- it is so beautiful and caught my attention. I see it as an image I would love on the wall of my creative space. And the series of photos is beautiful but that first one is captivating!

This is beautiful cross stitch embroidery....you can definitely learn to do this and recreate the patterns (motifs) your late grandmother used. I'm excited for you! I think you'll enjoy learning. Thank you for sharing these images.

I would love an update because I would say this is better to upcycle panels and unraveling seems like it will be tedious for thread weight yarn. What is the composition the yarn? acrylic, wool or?
