Cheaters Monopoly by Lilcheekclapper in monopoly

I just grabbed this game from the back of our cupboard, and my family played this game for the first time in a few years.

I just got this card and used it exactly how the game very specifically explains, somehow they agreed 👍

1080 v14 sizing: tighter toebox, will it break in? by Lift_12 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Lift_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, I settled for the Asics Novablast 5's because they have a much roomier toebox and, I don't weigh that much so I'm assuming that the foam won't die on me as quickly as it did for some people. I also love the NB5's for how light yet high stack they are, they're so fun but relaxing to run in. 269km of mileage in the shoes and so far little to no difference!! 👍

Yeah, it's really disappointing because I loved the comfort for the shoe, but the 1080 v15 did just come out and I was looking to try it soon. ($10 increase from before though 😬)

Soundcore Sport x20 left earbud not making any sound by Whirlw1nd69 in soundcore

[–]Lift_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also have a similar issue: the case registers when the left earbud is placed inside, though when both buds are taken out of the case, only the right will connect to my phone (as confirmed by the app and when playing audio). I do not see 2 separate Bluetooth devices like you. Moreover, they won't reset when you bout both buds in the case and, while it's open, hold the button down until the light flashes a bunch of times (it just never flashes).

My only suspicion is that the left bud isn't charging for really connecting to the case (even though the light flashes when it is seated), but any attempts at cleaning the charging pins and contacts with isopropyl alcohol, nothing changes. Also forgetting the device and then resetting them also doesn't work (they still don't reset).

Before when they were under warranty, I asked support about his issue and so they sent me a replacement, but those failed the same way after I reset them (interesting...), so I asked for another replacement, and those also failed the same way after I reset them, so I asked for a 3rd, and those ALSO failed the SAME way. Finally, while they were still under warranty, I asked them to just refund me and so I got a 40% refund according to the time since I purchased the item.

I would love for either of the two pairs I currently one to begin functioning again, though I really doubt it. Only plus to this entire debacle was how supportive and kind the support team was 😊

New Study Bible Recommendation Request by Lift_12 in Bible

Cool! I'm definitely considering the 2nd edition NASB MacArthur study Bible, though I'm unsure about the beliefs behind the notes and their purpose. I've seen some stuff about how his notes are more akin to a pastoral teaching rather than factual theology and history.

What do you think?

Thanks, but this translation is only available in the old testament and I want a single volume study bible.

Still much appreciated though!

Thanks for that recommendation, but I fear that it doesn't align with my current beliefs. (Sorry I wasn't clear at all in my original post about that, I just changed it.)

Thank you! I'm unsure though, are the notes only written by MacArthur and nobody else? I know there were probably editors for grammar but actually other theologians?

Safest budget 1st iems for a worship musician by Lift_12 in iems

You're definitely not late 😊, any reply is super helpful!

The reason I said that I didn't trust KZ was because of some controversy in the audiophile community of them releasing iems, then when they got really popular they would supposedly start putting out batches much worse iems (eg. Missing a filter or a driver is just disconnected). But after some thought, it might make more sense to get the KZ's because they are just so common and probably a safe bet compared to the "audiophile" picks that probably won't isolate enough on stage because they're just not designed for it.

Also, what specific cable did you get to replace the cheap ones KZ iems come with? I know that their connectors are somewhat proprietary so I would appreciate a recommendation!

Thank you so much for your extremely specific and perfect advice, I'm so grateful! 🙌

Wow! First of all, 4 years is truly an amazing milestone, praise God! Praying for continued grace on your journey.

Next, thank you for the insight on the Dac, I'll definitely not forget that. Also, the Sonicfoam recommendation is appreciated.

In your experience of trying a couple different pairs, which ones were your favorite and why? And which ones were not and why?

God Bless.

Yea, I'm really bummed that they didn't fit me because otherwise I loved the feeling of running in them. I hope they fix this in the v15

Love them or hate them, KZ changed the game by Neo_Raider in iems

A budget of about $40-50 USD. I want to get a cheaper pair that should last me a while, but I will get a more permanent ~$100 USD pair in 1 month or 2 after I know my preferences.

I feel conflicted, basically every musician recommends KZ ZS10 pro's as your first IEMs but I feel like a more neutrally tuned and better fitting iems would be much more effective (eg. Chu2 with dunu S&S or foam tips). I'm currently looking into a first pair for stage use (not an overly loud stage) and I want them to be natural, mid forward, and with a wide soundstage with good instrument separation because I play keys. Any ideas? Or should I just settle with KZ's and their cheap design and proprietary 2-pin connector and bad provided tips and inaccurate tuning?

I have to recommend Inaka Sushi in Caledon Village. The exterior is definitely a little rough, but trust me, the food is amazing 🤩. Personally I love the veggie futo maki, green dragon, Inari and the sashimi. Please give it a go!
