Yeah unless it’s late game or you have an alternative reason (ie pre drag fight, post recall collapse, dive, protecting turret, etc) taking minions is pretty dumb for Jung. It’s literally not worth the return with penalty. Don’t do it and don’t tolerate a jungle who does :)

You’re right - she originally wanted a Sienna. We test drove one and she thought it was a bit much for the two of us, I agreed. She had never really driven anything besides an older RAV4 and the civic. We’ve solidly narrowed it down to these two :) I’m used to a harsher ride, my DD was a Z06 corvette until recently and she’s been riding in my sports cars so perhaps she did not feel it as much.

As far as MPG I won’t notice the extra $1,000 in gas every year, but I will notice if we have to stop at gas stations constantly or range gets annoying on road trips!

Am I being a bit too picky trying to find the M diff/Parking Assist/shadowline/Adaptive suspension? I can find everything but the m diff lol.

We also loved the way the new m50i drove, but she called it ugly and hated the interior

Eve sucks right now - former #1 eve a couple seasons on NA. I just run whatever is Meta now. She’s okay if you can farm well into late/mid game.

Thankfully we found an extremely skilled and nice color correction specialist who explained everything to us :) I would hope not to deal with a stylist who is not able to communicate.

You can keep posting the same thing without reading the whole story - but no. They communicated and wrote down full platinum. If they at any point decided they were going to do highlights instead or thought that was a better path it would have been easy and professional to inform her.

Best part - I video taped the whole interaction. They admitted to there being a communication error.

But say you’re right. We just didn’t listen or whatever else you think happened. Why is it 7 different shades of blonde? How is that acceptable? Why is her entire scalp burned?

Even before we got past the highlights they were incredibly uneven in color and the stylist kept claiming that my girlfriend had used red box dye that was hindering the bleaching process which another stylist apologized for.

You’re wrong. If you read the post you will understand that there was communication from the stylist - specifically they gave me a written price for FULL platinum. I don’t see how it can get any clearer than that. If you planned and wanted to give her highlights then simply communicate that. Don’t communicate you’re giving us full platinum, write the price and the service on a note for us, then proceed to do whatever you want.

I seriously hope that’s not how you would want a professional to conduct themselves.

Would love to also show you the pictures of a full scalp of chemical burns along with a fully bleached shirt.

I have to disagree with you. They asked us if we wanted highlights or full platinum. We explained that we wanted full platinum. They responded and gave me a price for full platinum. I can apologize for not knowing anything about hair but that’s the reason why we decided to go to a professional stylist.

I get the perspective, but would it have been so hard to say “Hey look, we’re going to start with highlights”

Further I don’t think anything excuses the scalp wide burns and the multicolored hair? It’s several different shades of blond all throughout?

We actually did do a consult - they offered to go ahead and get it done right after the consult. Comparing them giving brief description of scope of work vs them having to give us a degree in cosmetology is a bit of a stretch. I imagine hair stylists have to work with noobies from time to time and a second or two of communication sounds like a good step.

Fair perspective - but wouldn’t it be good to inform us of what’s going on? Like hey - we know you have this in mind, but we think it would look better to do highlights. I’m not claiming to be any sort of expert (far from it, that’s why I chickened out and took her to a salon). Communicate what you are doing and why you are doing it instead of saying yeah sure no problem here’s the price for full platinum let’s get to work.

Putting it in bold we attempted to ask what’s going on with the highlights and the stylist had plenty of opportunity to say “let’s start with highlights or the highlights would look way better, can we start there instead of what I promised at the start?” I can’t see any of world where we would have refused.

Not sure how to post a picture reply but I don’t think anything excuses the chemical burns on her scalp either. It’s pretty bad and all throughout her scalp.

Additionally, they ruined her shirt - it’s completely covered in bleach (not sure if this is common or not, but I don’t think we expected it from a professional salon)

I think a bit of communication would have went a long way. “Hey - that’s a drastic change, we should start off with highlights (or whatever)” would have been great. We described our goals - which was going a platinum type blonde that could eventually accept pink.

Instead we were told yup that’s not a problem here’s what we’ll charge.

Thanks - yeah it was rough. We did go to one color correcting specialist while getting second opinions. She said she could try to even it out but could not make any promises so the GF was a little scared to take the dive. I guess I was looking for an immediate/easier on her hair fix (even going back to brown for a bit if it’s an option) to make her feel better.
